My only advice, do not eat the "Space Cake" from the guy selling on the beach.. unless you have experience !!!!!
Enjoy !
Up on the westend

Thank you guys, will be careful.
Any other suggestions instead of the beach guys, Connie's CountryWestern Pub and The Wake and Bake Cafe at West End?
Something directly at Long Bay?
Thanks a lot. Very helpful advices! :)
Appears a good name he has for his baked goods.
I think the Wake and bake has a stall on the beach, if I remember correctly it was near Drifter's?
Love the Wake n' Bake sign - haven't tried any other edibles there, the space cake was the highest moment I have ever had.... the photos of the beach that day and the sunset were amazing . All 100 of them lol
Tedd's usually has some space cakes that don't involve shrooms.
they do taste awful, but never too strong...hehehe
Where can I find Tedd's?
Do not scare me with shrooms pls, definately not what I'm looking for.
Is Wake n Bake trustworthy as to that?
Tedd's is in town, across from the police station
Definitely check out the Wake N Bake Cafe. On my last reach, we visited and met the owner. She and her staff are really welcoming and easy to chat with. She is eventually adding some guest rooms on her property and gave us a tour. I don't think she has the beach stall anymore. She used to walk up and down the beach selling her items but now just sells out of her place.
I remember Jenny's cakes from back in the day. My first trip there I ordered one cake for me and one for my bud. We ate them (actually choked them down... they were strong). Went to a bar, can't really remember the name, and while ordering beers told the bartender we both had just eaten one of Jenny's cakes. He said "Wow, you two split a cake?!?! They are for four people mon.". I came back to consciousness in front of the Negril Beach Club, no shoes, no sunglasses, and a coke in my hand that the ice had melted in hours ago. Fortunately no sunburn. It was however, difficult explaining to immigration why I was wearing Flip-flops arriving home to Boston in January.
When we were there a couple weeks ago, there was a sign for the Wake 'n Bake on the beach. It was north of Rooms - past Roots, I believe. Somewhere I have a picture...Let me look.
Not sure if this is the same as the one on the West End - but here's the sign.

LOL. Jenny's cakes are legit. Last time I was there she made up some red velvet cakes that were amazing.
OP,
Take a cab up to Jenny's/C&D bar and grab a few for the week. They are the most consistent product that I have found in Negril. Grab a meal there as her cooking is really good.
I know what I'm doing this weekend when I arrive … make painting interesting. Thanks all.
Wow, reaally helpful. Thank you all!
So Jenny's = Connie's CountryWestern Pub right?
Correct!!
I agree that Jenny's/C&D is consistently the best cake around. I actually find the taste to be very pleasant, as well.
Yes, one piece of special cake is enough for 4 people.
Not only is the shroom place within shouting distance of the police station, the station itself has a bar that is open to the public.
Yeah...Tedd's is not quite shouting distance :) and...
as far as a bar being at the police station...
no one really explains that bar in detail...since I was one of the people that posted about this "phenomena" many moons ago and originally posted because I was excited about them being one of the few bars in Negril with a generator at the time current/electricity was going out quite regularly...
it's really the police recreational facility for off duty police/administration where you can get some pretty good food and a cold beer...
they're super friendly and still have that generator if needed (though rarely needed now).
No way Jenny's are for 4 people, my 1st time there I was cautious and only ate half a piece, barely nothing happened so it was a waste since you wait an hour to judge the effect. Every trip since 1 piece = 1 dose.
Bought some good cake (and cheaper) at Sir D's on one of the pub crawls.
Leighton sells baked good on Beach. His brownies. I've had plenty of edibles at home, a corner of his brownie put me under. I was really sick. Two other girls, little piece. They were passed out the rest of the day. Boyfriend is 6'6" and edibles don't usually affect him. This one did, but he wasn't a fan.
