Lobster at 3 Dives, of course!
Some of those in there look pretty small. :(
~Moose
Thought Lobster Season is on hold at this time?
I can take those Red Stripes off your hands and hold them for the picture ;)
Eat'em while you got'em.
Any fresh or frozen bugs can be sold until the supply runs out. No new catch from now until season again
Cap
Cap is right, but these lobsters were photographed in February and the photo of Champ and Jenny was March 9th. We were in season and always respect the ban. Respect --Marblehead
Is there a size that is needed to be a keeper? IIRC in Florida, carapaces must be a certain size or they need to be thrown back.
~Moose
Cosmic Moose...it may be the way the photo has been taken.
3 Dives generally gets some of the largest lobster around and just like any restaurant is inspected regularly.
The lobster size has has to be over 3.5 inches in length.
Close Capt...lobsters caught before April 1st may be sold, exported or processed until April 21st as long as they've been declared to the proper licensing authority.
Great pics, Marblehead...love me some Champion.
Rob has known Champion since he was ankle high. :)
NO lobster during the season ........... even those "caught before" deadline and frozen.

Well here is another fly in the lobster ointment ................ I guess they can have frozen lobsters till April 21st ................... must be "registered" lobsters ................ ? ? ? ? ............ THEN no lobsters frozen or otherwise ................ http://jis.gov.jm/public-announcemen...ril-1-june-30/
Capt Oil...read my other posts...already gave this info...
and I think I saw an article saying there is a 1M fine if caught catching lobster out of season and lifetime revocation of their fisheries permit?
~Moose
there was just a big article one of the Jamaican Newspaper saying the fine has been increased....
and can be as high as 3million J's now plus prison time...
previously it was like $1,000J's fine which wasn't much of a deterrent....
mi have been tired of seeing the Lobstermon selling lobsters during the closed season on da beach for years and years.....
Cool Runnings, Marko
The pdf is key - that agrees with Bnewb. If caught before 01Apr they can be sold, etc. until 21Apr. After that, none can be in possession.
