Today I saw a rainbow around the sun. At one point there were two but I couldn't get a picture of them since they were very light. It started off slowly to finally become a complete circle. I have never seen anything like this before.

It happens everywhere. The first picture show very high ice crystals call cirrus clouds. They defuse the sunlight into the rainbow.Quote:
