Need a recommendation please

We have been to the rock many, many times but I have 4 ladies looking for something that I am not familiar with, so I need your help. They want a pool with swim up bar, a bit of luxury, on the beach, and not for a lot of money (yeah right). I would like to keep them on 7 mile and not go to bloody bay so they have all of the awesome beach bars to choose from that we have told them about. They are on a budget and would like to cram all 4 of them into one room. Flight and transportation are not a problem, just where to have them stay. Thanks for all the help, Phil & Cindy.

Travellers? Think they have a swim up bar, not certain that would meet their "bit of luxury" requirement tho'!

IMHO I think it's better if they have to get out of the pool to get their drinks. People are more likely to use the facilities to pee rather than the pool. Better to have the urinal in the bar than the bar in the urinal!

Thanks all, now they want AI which Travelers is not. The only good thing is they are going in October so it will be cheaper. Keep up the good work. And no they have never been to JA. but want to experience all the cool stuff we have been telling them about. More please! And thanks.

LOL @ Marblehead…I don’t do Jacuzzis, hot tubs or kiddie pools, now I’m adding pools with swim-up bars to the list.

Phil & Cindy, not sure if they will find an AI property that will allow 4 to a room. Although not AI, the Rayon has a lovely 2 bedroom villa at a good rate. They have a fantastic pool and restaurant where the ladies can purchase a meal plan or eat at the close by shops.

Not sure about 4 to a room, but look at the Grand Pineapple. Basic AI, no swim up pool, but on a beautiful and calm stretch of Long Bay.

Hi Vi !!!! .......yep. I am with you, just got back, I loved the belly flop event at the Seastar, love the place , love the peeps, but.... you didn't see me in the pool....lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd throw another vote for Travellers out there. Not AI, but you can get breakfast included and it has a swim-up bar. It's cheap and you could maybe get all four of em in one room.

I stayed at Travellers last October. Room was nice. Peeps there are great! Never went in the pool tho. Beach life is the best!

Read in today's NY Times some actual research on urine in pools and hot tubs in Vancouver. Researchers sampled 29 pools and hot tubs and found a chemical only excreted in urine in all of them, indicating gallons of urine. I guess that's why one of my clients refused to use pools or hot tubs. He was the director of the NY State Animal Health Diagnostic Lab at Cornell University. We were building a new facility for him. He was a large animal vet so not a squeamish kind of person. He said he new too much microbiology. Didn't eat sushi either. Ain't that a pisser?!!!

I would suggest Fun Holiday but the f**ked me by overbooking these last 2 years so.....go elsewhere.....

The GrandPineapple is a Nice lil AI that's affordable in a nice location on 7 mile on Long Bay but no swim up pool.. I also stayed at the Rui Club on Bloody Bay once (I got bored there at night though), which has all the AI amenities (including the drink and pee pool... lol) but it's quite the distance from the action(there's always cabs waiting outside their entrance).... but also affordable...

Another one for Travellers.

It's not all inclusive but meal plans are offered, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a swim up bar with music often being played at the pool. 4 persons can be accommodated in a room. There are different room types, think they would be able find a room that's at their comfort and lux level. Rooms have been recently renovated too, looks really nice! Weekly evening entertainment so less likely they would get bored.

and the guy playing the piano in the lobby freaked me out that was a long time ago

lawd 4 adults in one room.......dat nuts
have them rethink der priorities....a pool swim up bar on da beach isn't for the budget minded......
