05:00 AM Departure from Negril - Recommendation for Transport

We have a 07:15 AM flight departure from MBJ - so thinking if we leave Negril ROTB at 05:00 we should be good. Any recommendations from folks that have taken a private taxi or shuttle very early from Negril and what the fare was? We hope to use the same service on our arrival 19:56 PM as well - so important to find a service that works early and late hours.

Just a thought but aren't you cutting it close by leaving at 5:00? First you have to be sure your ride is there ON TIME. and then it is just over an hour to MoBay if they drive quickly. That doesn't leave you much time to check in and go through security.

LINSTON WOULD BE A GOOD CHOICE AND REASONABLE TOO.

Leaving at 5:00 for a 7:15 flight is not good. You need to be at the airport at LEAST 90 minutes before the flight or they won't let you on sometimes.

Yes, it would be wise to leave more like 4, no later than 4:30am. Better to be safe than sorry...

I suggest you pull an all-nighter!

We like an early flight home too and are not brave enough to risk getting to the airport from Negril so early, so we go to Montego Bay the night before and for 80 bucks, we spend the night at Toby's Resort. That allows us to get a good nights sleep and start our long travel day fresh.

We have done that many times and usually stay for 3 days or so in Mobey or somewhere within 30 minutes of the airport. But this next trip we did not want to spend anytime in Montego Bay and would rather be in Negril the evening before our early morning flight. We booked our arrival and 4am departure with Luxurious Carib based on the favourable comments of CosmicMoose and many others. Luxurious Carib confirmed the 4:00AM departure for us. All should be irie.
