Booked in for Dec 11 anyone stayed there lately or know how it is. We are not high maintenance and like small resorts.
We stayed their the last couple years in February. Really liked it. Very basic. We did not do the AI package, prefer boppin' around for food and drink and the buffet did not look that appealing anyway. Decent pool and hot tub, swim up bar (when it's open) great location on the beach. Not sure how busy it is in December but if we wanted a cabana on the beach we had to get up early and "reserve" it with a towel.........or tip the night watchman.
Thanks for the info as long as we can grab one meal a day were good and the AI was only 150 more so I know I'll drink that much. What we care about most is the beach. Spent half day in negril 21 years ago can't wait to get back.
The small beach area is a complete deal breaker for me... plus the location on the beach is not my favorite. I stay in a small no frills place, but has a great spacious beach area which is the biggest reason I go

I had heard that Fun Holiday had contracted with some Canada Tour group and honored those reservations first so we and numerous others where **** out of luck. Even a wedding group of 10 that were supposed to have wedding there also was bumped. This is just the excuse I had heard.Quote:

I would try using the software on your device, rotating the pic 180 degrees and then re-saving it with that new rotation under a new name. Upload that new rotated photo and let us know what happens.

Must be your first trip. Negril is tranquil 99% of the time. Every major city I've been to in the US scares me more than Negril ever will. Sure it might be a little rough around the edges but at least you can see it, not like he sneaky polished crime in the US. I think you will feel quite safe, quite amazed and quite at home in Negril.Quote:

I never stayed at FH but my friends have, every year, for more than 10 years. We hang there before sunset. The only negative was the small beach area that seemed to change size every year. One year the beach was packed full of obnoxious AI guests from Europe. Check out Montana's Cafe and the Jungle Nightclub across the street. Go on ladies night!
How did you like Fun Holiday? We found them in 2011 and it’s our place we keep coming back to. We even like the food. We have stayed at 8 other places but we like the price and the AI!
I stayed there in Dec. I did the AI. I thought the food was great. I always made sure when the meal times were, so I didn't miss out. Minnesota farm boy. My mother always taught me to try all foods and CLEAN YOUR PLATE!! The Red Stripe on tap was fresh and cold. The liquor is not top shelf, but bad. My room was very large and spacious. Always had hot water, and lots of it. AC was cold. Staff was good, except I thought the floor managers were not respectful to the new waitresses,and kitchen workers. They are trying very hard man, just treat them better. Location is great. Would definitely stay again. Oh, one last thing. When I stayed there The Jamaicans and myself were the only ones who spoke English.
