Sunshine Village

Hey everyone...doing things a little different this trip and rented an AirBnB at Sunshine Village...I love the beach and cliffs and instead of splitting my stay... I rented a condo right in the middle .....at Sunshine Village around the bend from Corner Bar... My question is... any good breakfast places close by? Like a 5 or 10 minute walk? I know the town very well but haven’t hung out in the ‘center’ much outside of the Corner Bar... I know about Canoe and all the regular places... your suggestions are appreciated... no better way to be grateful on Thanksgiving Day than arriving in Negril around 2 pm!

Peewee's two doors down from Blue Cave Castle. Great breakfast, nice view from the cliffs, and the breakfasts are super reasonable. I don't know current prices, but in 2015 it was only $400j for two eggs, bacon and toast.

Quality and Connie also cook breakfast, not sure about prices tho, but their lunch/dinner meals are fantastic, so I'd say their breakfasts should be good too.

going up the West End Rd be a hike...but heading down towards the Corner Bar be more of a quick walk
probably Hammond Bakery be a good stop just past the roundabout.....
of course Burger King right down by past the corner bar......
dunno if Juicy J's in behind the Corner Bar parking lot serves breakfast but they might.....great lunches and meals
dunno if Cotton Tree serves breakfast before the Chinese Restaurant......

for lunch you have a more options.....

FYI - Jamaicans usually eat two meals a day.......late breakfast/early lunch.......then supper
it's a rare occasion that mi see a local having a regular breakfast before 9AM

mi concur it be worth grabbing a $130J route taxi and stop at PeWees and get breakfast
Elvis serves breakfast starting at 8AM....coffee($150J) usually available before then.....
Egg Sandwhich is $200J's......with cheese $300J......
Pablo's just past PeWee's by SamSara serves a nice breakfast after 8AM.....the Jamaican breakfast last you till supper

across lot from corner bar is that two building two story plaza,you know it, in the back there is always a little restaurant that achieves the 3 important qualities cheap, local and good.
nice recoord shop there too
