Coconut International
Agree with the above recommendation on the beach. At the round about area, above Hammonds Bakery..Seven Mile Restaurant. Good food, great views, reasonable prices. On da cliffs...Sharks, Just Natural, DeBar, Miss Jenny's, if still open. Erica's is also quite good. Sips and Bites near Rockhouse area is good authenic JA food at yardie prices.
Many, many jerk vendors and soup vendors with really great jerk...all along the beach and cliffs. Ras Rody's is ital, but a great place for a great lunch!! Great conversation too!! There are so many places to visit. Just walk along the roads and stop in and check out the menu and prices. Look for where the locals eat..they are always the best!! Sweet Spot on Norman Manley is also quite good. We had a local guy, recommend it and it was great! Don't be afraid to go into places that are not en vogue. Be adventurous and think outside the box. You won't be disappointed. :)
Choices Restaurant between Blue Cave Castle and Samsara.

Bob

Beach area:
Montana's - across from beach -great spot for breakfast
Best in the West for jerk chicken
Alfred's on the beach - great fish and chips around $9 large enough for two
Sweet Spot - across from beach - good, very inexpensive food
Westend:
Just Natural or Pee Wee's for breakfast
Eddies, Jenny's
Ras Rody's - Great Ital food
Sips N Bites - probably the best or one of the best economical meals in Negril
Shark's - good, inexpensive food
Out of Town Pastry - far down westend but great patties and low price
Leroys across the street from Catch a Falling Star.
Sharks in the westend across from Tensing Pen
Sunset after Dark across from the hardware store, best burgers and fish and chips
Seastar most everything on the menu
Sheritas at Seawind
Canoe
Debarr jerk chicken
The list can go on and on!
The least expensive way I've done it is to buy groceries at Hi-Lo and make breakfast and lunch myself (or have patties for lunch). Sandwiches and cereal are easy and inexpensive. Just make sure you leave the sweet stuff in the frig, so the ants don't invade. Then we'll usually have dinner at a restaurant or get chicken and soup from a vendor.
Breakfast on the beach ? ? ? Lena's InnTing at the Donaldson's Inn ................. just south of The Palms and a few hundred feet north of SeaSplash/Norma's ........ small local owned grill with a great "rasta breakfast" cooked the old fashion way ................ plus Sunshine, June, and the rest of the ladies will keep you entertained.
Colletta's
Jah B's
Both are on the morass side of the road across from Alfred's Ocean Palace area.

sumthin like the Chicken Lola for $12 bucks at LTU is well worth it........
Three Dives with their Jerk Chicken is very reasonable...........wonderful granny sauce

Canoe is reasonable for the quality of their food......and drinks.........go for the Snapper and Rum Punch!
for lunch on da beach just grab the vendors as they pass by for cheap Patties, Coco Bread and fresh fruit....
Ivans, Kubaya, Hungry Lion, Ricks and a lot of places on the beach can be kinda expensive........
