just curious. other than the brownies any available in Negril
I had a cookie from Wake and Bake by Grand Pineapple that was pretty good and I think there are cakes at a place called Jenny Cakes but not sure where that is.
Different kinds of cakes, cookies, popcorn can be found...
we are familiar with Jennys. will have to check out wake and bake. whose got the popcorn? thank you
Jenny's which is now Connie's Country Western Pub has popcorn etc. and a place near Ricks Cafe (the name escapes me at the moment) sells popcorn and other edibles.
Wake n Bake has popcorn and other edibles. They’re up on the west end rd on the garden side ... past Ras Rody a little bit.
is there a wake and bake by grand pineapple also?
I go past GP all the time and have never noticed a stand there.
Where is the wake and bake on west end?
CanJam is located near LTU Pub and is excellent!
Wake and Bake is at CanJam - and the edibles are well prepared with care. We have bought cookies, brownies, popcorn and what ever she has. I would not buy them anyplace but at her cafe. Also a nice sport for breakfast and lunch if she is still doing that. I think the rentals are now completed and available? Rob would you happen to know?
Are there any edible stands near Nirvana? We will be there next month, and would like to try something.
We stayed for two nights in December before moving on to Rockhouse then to Whistling Bird. At the time she had two rooms ready but I think now she has four available. Our room was clean, colorful and cool, despite no AC. She has a roof top area with a gazebo to watch the sunset and offered to cook us meals according to our needs. We had breakfast once and dinner once and she did a fabulous job on both! I felt like I was staying at a friend's house.
No stands I would use near Nirvana. Don't get edibles from the beach vendor that sells bread, they're awful. I'd make a trip to Country Western and get some.
I will never eat a brownie from baked goods vendor ever again. Banana bread and coconut drops yes!! I had a tiny corner of a brownie and was violently ill and way too out of it. I love edibles at home but I said never again in Jamaica. Although hearing about the products at wake and bake is making me reconsider.
Connie’s Country Western is a fun place to while away an afternoon. If you haven’t checked it out it is definitely worth your while. Good prices, great vibe, intimate.
have had the brownies at connies many times and always good. not too strong which is fine for me. was looking for something like gummy bears as we have tried in colorado .
We had a brownie from Can Jam, aka Wake and Bake yesterday. It was excellent!! She told us try a quarter and wait maybe and hour and split the rest, next time we will stop at a quarter! It knocked us both out, we have some experience with the legal edibles from Colorado and find them to be very mild. The brownie was quite strong by comparison. We will def do it again, but just not as much.
She had milkshakes, cookies, brownies and popcorn. She has four rooms available now, they are on Expedia for about $65 a night. The Canadian lady who owns/runs is a real gem and very enjoyable to sit and vibe with for awhile if you have the time.
