Juicy J's which is no more:(
Also a place on the west end near Blue Cave Castle which I can't remember the name of. It's also now closed/sold...shees.
Chicken Lavish is well known for their fried chicken but I have never tried it.
Also Connie's Western Bar (I think it's called) and is another I have yet to try. People rave about the fried chicken there and her Mac & Cheeze. It's next to, Jenny's Cakes (another closed favorite of mine).
Maybe I'm jinxing these places :(
Love fried chicken and hoping other chime in with current favorites.
Hey Cleome and Craig123,
Chicken Lavish has got it going on....
till the break of dawn....for Fried Chicken.
But "the best" of course,
would be at a local Jamaican home/house.
Corner Bar is pretty good too.
You may be surprised to hear that there are many Jamaicans love KFC as sold in Jamaica.
The one in Sav is usually packed around lunch time.
It's not your American KFC!

For us, it’s Erica’s. Hubs usually has two orders, one to eat when there and one to go! Chicken Lavish is also good.

Connie's Western Bar, Chicken Lavish, Corner Bar, Sweet Spot, Chesters in the Texaco gas station, Pablo's and Erica's. :courage: I love fry chicken!
We stopped at a little place that only sells fried chicken and fries, on our way home from Blue Hole mineral spring. If anyone knows the name of the place and location I would love to know!! I can't remember and would love to go back.
been going to chicken lavish since '89. doc will take care of you with his home grown range chicken.
Pablo's is our fav...and his baked chicken on Saturday nights is awesome too.
In the 80's & 90's I had a friend named Vincent outside of Lucie. His wife made the most amazing fried chicken on what looked like a glorified campfire! We've lost touch over the years, and I miss both my friend and his wife's cooking!!
Negril Tree House, they had on special one night. The boss lady doesn't like fried chicken but after trying mine she ordred some herself. It was incredible!
I had good fried chicken at the Seastar during it's Sat dinner show...

Thanks for all the chicken info, I've had the chicken curry at Chicken Lavish and it was delicious, Doc came out and talked to us true Janaican hospitality. I have seen the line wrapped around the building on Friday at KFC, so they must be doing something right lol. Where is Sweet Spot and Collettas?
Chicken Lavish and Jamaica KFC good too!
corner bar, chick lavish, Dor's in Belmont #1,
It wasn't Fries Unlimited, she told us that people like her chicken even more. It was a little hut with her home on the property. Definitely on a country road.
