Ya mon...they've been working hard getting it ready...just opened the other day! That section of the West End is rockin' out some great restaurants!!
Where is that location?
Just up the road from Canoe. across from Miyard.
Sunset After Dark is getting ready to open up any day as well across from Negril Hardware, lots of good food in that area.
Awesome, I saw there was work in progress a couple weeks ago. I love that upstairs deck!!
How do you travel between your hotel on the cliffs/beach to this area. We walked to the canoe last year and found it quit a hike from anywhere. What would you suspect a taxi from Seatstar down the hill & back up cost? When is this area the most lively?
If you walk up to the end of Seastar Lane and catch a route taxi to Canoe or anywhere along West End Road...it was 80J per person last time I was there. Private ride is higher. Route taxi's are the way to travel IMHO. So many great places to eat pon da west end!!
Maybe I wasn't clear...that 80J pp was one way...then same on way back as long as you exit on the main road...more if you want to go down SS Lane. We generally just walk down the lane. Quite safe and we love a nice walk.

my husband will be so happy to get a burger during our stay. It is the one thing he misses when we are out of the states. And now I've learned how to get us there. This will be a first time route taxi for us this year.
This site is awesome and I thank each and everyone of you for your insite. We leave in a couple of days and are looking forward to doing everything and nothing for 12 days.
Jeri365...no prob getting a burger...Seastar also has a really, tasty & huge burger...your husband has a few options. Enjoy!
Yeah Seastars burger is good too. The Redstripe beer batter fish and chips at Sunset After Dark is huge and really good too.
1st trip to Negril, "actually here right now" I am a Ochi girl usually, but wanted to try Negril.. " LOVING NEGRIL" Hubby and I, are trying a "NEW" restaurant tomorrow night called "Blue Mohoe" it's located in that "NEW" Boutique Hotel- The Spa Retreat.. On the West end... Anybody try it yet? I will post my reviews on Monday :) also will try Sword fish Rest, this week, and will post my reviews then as well.... Oh how I "LOVE" Jamaican food..!!!!
