Lots of activity the last couple weeks. Looked like there was plenty still to do.
This is a link to Beingee's article about Kaiser's "GRAND REOPENING" back in December 2000.

Really interested...The one property I want to stay at...
Some memorable shows in the past. Sure would like to know the back story. It's been years since I was last "inside."
Der a banner sign on the wall facing the West End Rd that says der open. ...
However haven't seen any activity looking in from the road....
Looks dead like usual to this guy...
The owner(s) still among the missing. ....

La Kaiser appeared open for a short time this summer also.
Babalew...I would go with caution if you find a way to book there.
A few years back someone got "hold of the keys" and had been renting out the rooms. The people that had booked, ended up with no water, current or security.
A couple of years before that...an American lady said she knew the owner...she was doing some work on the property and arranging concerts...she ended up back home after a couple of months.
If it's really open...again...go with caution and make sure it's a professionally handled booking.
thanks lisa....thats why i'm asking on this forum, for info before arrival. i filled out their contact form, no ans on a phone call...we'll see.
Very compelling...does this property even legit ?
We somehow booked a couple rooms there around 15 years ago. Although a gorgeous property, it appeared mostly deserted when we got there (first red flag). Guy took us up to our second floor rooms which seemed pretty rough (2nd). Our 14 yo leaned on the walkway railing and a bunch of it crashed to the ground floor (last straw). We hightailed but not before being insulted by the guy the brought us up to the rooms. I used to try to be a good example to my kids so I let it go at that time and headed to Coral Seas Cliffs - we were very happy there.
The website is nice, but it looks like most of the pix are stock photos from other establishments.
Stopped in at Kaiser's a week ago and there was one couple having Red Stripe Beers at $350J in the afternoon....
They have a nice bar with tables and plastic chairs you can buy in Sav....
For the most part the place was deserted....
And no there isn't a ladder to go snorkeling or swimming....
Though the bartender mentioned you can try to use the steps that go into the ocean but with no railing mi would not recommend it....

Wow, their website is truly odd! As someone else mentioned, the photos look like stock photos, not photos of the actual resort. One of the shots that purports to be of Kaisers' is actually a shot of nearby Samsara. Another website photos shows a room with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean - something that Kaisers' definitely does not have! I'm pretty certain that the wedding photo was taken at Xtabi, not Kaisers. This whole site is very questionable. A quick domain search indicates that the domain was registered in Arizona (USA).
It appears that this site is highly suspicious, likely a scam, and I would not suggest giving money to them! I'd love to see Kaisers return but don't see it in the immediate future.
Much more to come, wifi going in today!
The bar is open! Shawn is your bartender!

Cool that they're doing something with the property... But no comments on the shady as **** website? Rob, any ideas whats up with that?
Any new word on Kaisers? We see they are on a legit booking site, have been active on FB etc.
OK I've been going there for a couple of weeks on Fri when they have a live reggae band from 5-8, serve dinners at a reasonable price drinks reasonable as well and a killer sunset view.
dennis from sunnyside? is the bartender and makes a killer rum punch like the kind i 1st got in jamaica. i hate to share this place but it is worth a visit. They are renting a few rooms...out of my price range but again killer oceanview.
