Restaurant at Xtabi

Finally returning to Negril in two weeks after ten years away. We stay AI, but always like to get at least a couple of meals away from the resort. This trip we plan on eating at Just Natural, plus someone I do business with who has been visiting Negril for 45 years insists on buying my wife and I dinner at Xtabi. He will not be in Negril so he already called his friends at Xtabi to make sure I am taken care of. He even told them what music to play while I am there.😎 I was curious for those who have eaten there before if there is a menu item that is a favorite of yours? I have seen the menu, and will have a hard time deciding. Thanks

I liked the stuffed snapper

For a light lunch my wife loves the stuffed cucumber.

the conch burger is yummy.

BEST Jamaican breakfast ever! Ackee and saltfish, callaloo, plantain and fried dumplings; delish!

Have had Lobster Thermidor at Rockhouse & Ivans both great just done a little different...so Xtabi's has to be next this reach...we always do my girls birthday breakfast there every year...soon come in 1 week from today:cool-new:

if you eat there in the morning you should try their eggs bennidict, its wonderful

Breakfast sounds great also, but we stay on the other end of town so dinner is likely the only option this trip. Thanks for everyone’s suggestions. Looks like we will share the lobster thermidor and another entree.

We usually also order lobster thermadore at Kuyaba once a trip. We used to eat that at Blue Cave Castle too but sadly no more.

Homebrewer, I am returning to Negril after a long absence. Can you fill me in on your comment about Blue Cave Castle please.

As far as I know it is still closed, but even if it re-opened I'm sure Teddy isn't the chef any more.
