Beach at Country Country

The cottages at Country Country look so cute to me but how is their beach & how does it compare to the beach area at White Sands & Grand Pineapple? (Both of which are really nice IMO). I know I've walked past there many times over the years & I think I remember it being pretty narrow but not sure. Anyone have experience staying there? I'm getting ready to book & pretty sure I'm going to try Westender Inn (I know it's far out but I don't mind, it looks really nice) but wondering if I should spend a few days on the beach also. I don't know why I'm so afraid to ditch the beach for 1 trip when I know WI can drive us there for a day.

SVW...the beach used to be narrow until they expanded. New rooms & restaurant relocated.

OK so I'm not crazy! That's good to know lol :) So it was narrow at one time.

We've stayed at CC 15 times, it sucks - don't go there and for sure do not request room #xxx

It's always been the same width (between Treehouse-Crystal Waters) but before the beach came back several years ago it was only feet from the water's edge to the bar.

I like what you did there. We used to always get room 1203 at the old Poinciana. Now at Catcha, we get the same room you like at CC.

Been there the last 4 years and its very quiet with a wide beach. The only complaint I have is that you cannot request a specific room. The staff now knows us and have gone out of their way to make our stay pleasurable.

I think I'm just going to be brave & ditch the beach for 1 year & book Westender Inn for our whole trip. Not because of the last few posts (although that did not look good) but just because I'm ready for something new & different. If we don't love it there is always the next trip.

Stayed next door at Treehouse in April. The beach was wide and nice. Those pictures are years old.

I know & that was the walk I was remembering because Treehouse was in the water then too. It was a long time ago. We did walk all the way from Grand Pineapple to Beaches recently & saw nothing like that.

we just returned and stayed at idle awhile cliffs for the first part. they have a pretty good special going but it was too far out for us after a few days so we switched to the beach property

SVW..after the bash in April my friend spent her last few days at the Westender and absolutely loved it, posted pics and it looked great.. also they have offer rides to the beach for 4 dollars. FYI
