Working on my November dates now just waiting to make sure I get cash refund on my April flight.
Booked for this Thanksgiving last September. We have spent several Novembers In Negril but have never been there over Thanksgiving. As kids we lived in Houston and we were always given the choice of turkey dinner at home or hot dogs on the beach. The entire time we lived there never had a turkey dinner!! :biggrin-new:

Southwest just sent us an e-mail saying our July flights were cancelled and they were issuing back our points and taxes and fees. March was cancelled , now July cancelled , still have November booked but not counting on it.

Well usually I do a trip down in April, May or Sept but obviuosly I nixed those ideas. So I added a week to my 'after Thanksgiving trip' to give myself 17 days (always at White Sands). I have the American Airline credit card and I have about 18,000 miles on it. I was checking out the AA website and found that they have a website special going now and I was able to book my flight down for 13,000 miles +$49 for taxes (usually about 25,000 for a normal early morning flight). The only caveat is that you can't change the dates but you can cancel and get the miles back! So at least if I lose my vacation time to the pandemic, I won't lose anything...
