Hi boardies,
who will be in Negril in March? We are staying at Seastar Inn from March 7 until March 25.* Would love to meet some of you. Last time we went to several webcasts and met quite a few boardies.
Can't wait to do the pub crawl! :D
* Still looking for tickets. Prices are ridiculous! AA from Chicago to MBJ are $700 pp.
I'm going to be in Negril from Feb.22 - March 27.
I'm staying on the beach road and i'm hoping to attend some of the webcasts this time around for sure.
March 16th to 27th ............... 4 people ............. up the beach toward all-inclusives
March 12-March 30th. Nirvana on the beach. Would LOVE to meet some boardies. Never attended a web cast either

Last March we went to the pizza party at Rhodes Hall, the webcast and boardie meeting at Canoe and of course Seastar Inn's webcasts. So much fun!

I(we) have been lurkers on the board the last couple of years, not really active in discussions and such, but dedicated Negril visitors for the last 5 years..We always travel in March, and (up till now) have always went w/Couples..have finally decided to break out of the walls and this time we will be staying at the Grand Pineapple(not a giant leap, but a start). We would really love to meet up with some fellow vacationing boardies,local boardies, do the pub crawl, etc.. Will be staying at the GP from the 16th-24th

Usually the march trip is to the northcoast, but this year its a split 1 week Negril then a week in Duncans Bay! March 13 to 18th I think?

WooooHoooo! I just booked a girls trip for my mother and I ! We will be @ BGN on march 21st! I can't wait to get back to Negril, although I feel a little guilty about leaving my husband~ but we go every year for our anniv. in May! This will be Mom's 1st time ever seeing an ocean and what better placce than Negril to experience it?!

Just finally booked my trip yesterday...it is official!!! There was a great sale on Air Tran out of BWI and I jumped on it!!!
This will be my first trip to Jamaica in 11 years without my husband (we go every year together)....look out Negril!!! This is a girls trip with a friend of mine and I couldn't be happier. Watch for my trip report, it should be good.
I will be there March 6 - 14 (the 8th is a FULL MOON), I booked the dates to be sure to be there for the full moon.
I would totally love to meet up with some of you, name the place a day and I will be there.

Iriesistah, thanks for news about the full moon. I had not even checked. In the past we always tried to book dates that included a full moon. This time around I did not bother, I was so excited that we extended our trip from 14 to 18 days. :D
Mud, we get in on the 7th, not sure if we can make it work.
I was thinking definitely the bus crawl for all of us and perhaps a meet and greet at the Canoe Bar?

Lady Jane...I did finally book and ended up sticking with my usual, Beach House Villas. I love the staff there so much and always feel at home.
Lets try to do a meet up of some sorts between the 6th and the 14th sometime.
I can't wait to get my pasty white butt back to Negril, I am so pumped!!!
Last year I took my 2 year old twin boys with me and it was a blast but A LOT of work...way more work then being at home with them and that is A LOT of work!!! As I mentioned this is a ladies trip and I am ready for some MUCH needed Mama time!!! I am a stay at home mommy with a "husband" who is never around so I am alone with the kids pretty much 24/7. I love my kids beyond words but DAMN, I need a break!!!
Ok...Rumrunner, deanna...sounds like we will all be in Negril the same week....we are really itching to immerse ourselves more in the local vibe this trip...so, that said...canoe bar...pub crawl....lets do it....We'll be watching if anyone knows how best to hammer out some concrete dates/times...and, we're still not sure how the bus/pub crawl works..but, would really love to go if it's running the week we're there...again, we will be at GP from 3/16-3/25(fri-sun)
Somewhere here is a thread regarding the pub crawl. They give you a phone # for a pick-up, I think. I'm sure your hotel can help you out.
As far as Canoe bar, let's find out what time their happy hour starts and meet then. We'll have our laptop along to stay in touch.

by the way, i love seastar inn. great place! i stayed there last march and loved it! unfortunately, they are sold out already for march, so i may stay at home sweet home.
heard good tings about that resort as well! (does anyone have any input/or suggestions regarding resorts)???
yes!!!!! airfare has gone up this week, i noticed that as well. hopefully will lower again!

The pub crawl is on Wednesday. We get in on March 7 so will probably miss it that day but will be on the next one.

Viper...congrats on new marriage!! Can't think of a better place for a honeymoon than Negril....we also are <sort of> going outside the fence....to the Grand Pineapple...not all the way out, but we need to wean ourselves off of Couples Negril in steps:cool:
