How do you all feel about this attempt at a 30th Anniversary Logo?

I like them both, but I think option 2 better represents the link between the tourists and locals that Negril.com has always fostered and supported. Could the "One Love One World" catch phrase be added to option 2 somehow? I really like the sound of that.

I'm good for a couple tee shirts. I prefer option 1

I like the second one Rob but just a couple of suggestions. The sun and the huts in the background kind of looks like a picture taken facing south/east and a sun rise. Maybe reverse that picture so it looks like a picture taken facing north/west. Make the sun partially down below the horizon with Bobby Cay as the back drop representing a sun set. Also get rid of the green Hienie bottle, it has to be a brown stubby, maybe with a red stripe, not the words just the stripe.

I love them both! Great ideas! I really hope we can make it in November! :encouragement:

I vote for number two. Number one is too busy, tries to do too much and lot of what is depicted is more recent. Number two is much cleaner recalls the vibe of 30 years ago (or more). Cool down the pace. I would wear #2 on a tee shirt.

Both designs are great! I think #2 works better for a shirt.

These are just the first designs. I am starting to think that they both are too dark overall, and maybe use a daytime scene to add some bright blue hues. Any ideas on that concept?

Both are nice, but like #2 better ~ #1 seems rather "busy"

Rob, great job on both designs. When you posted #2 I felt it was a less busy and liked it better. You are correct both seem a bit dark. #1 has more white in the sand and logo. Adding white to the sand and the type would brighten #2 a lot.

Hey Rob! I like number 2 more so than number 1. Perhaps you could have 1 design depicting the beach and 1 depicting the west end. The west end is famous for the sunsets, so perhaps incorporate the cliffs with a sunset in some way? Perhaps have the Negril lighthouse in there. I could use 2 new tshirts!!

His artwork is fantastic I'm sure you are very well aware I would hire him to do your T-shirt logo I think he's fantastic and very unique

The final 30th Anniversary design will be Jamaican designed, but Negril.com has existed for 30 years because of all of the 100s of thousands of visitors to this website since 1995, the first one actually being from Alaska!

I am going to be giving more samples for all of you to comment on so we will end up with a design that is as much yours as it is ours! The help provided so far will lead to some more updated design samples. Stay tuned and let us know what you think!

I still like #2 but I have a couple of notes. Reverse the image so that we're actually looking toward Booby Caye and the sunset. Find a place for the actual dates ie. 1995-2025. If not, in a few years no one will know the actual anniversary year. Very nit picky, but make the beach sand whiter. Even without changes I will order 2 tees with #2.

Maybe us boardies can do some sort of memorial to Rob and Negril.com? Just a suggestion if someone wants to run with it.
