Yes, Stuck, you are right, But I think it is starting to gear up. Or maybe it is just me that is geared up since I am going next week and have been addicted to everything negril-related. Probably taking folks a while to get up to speed.

This board was officially turned on and the old board turned off mid-Monday. As Irieworld has pointed out, people are still learning the new software. With anything new, there is always a transition period that is to be expected. But with already over 1750 posts on something that is essentially less than 4 days old, I am pleased that everyone has made the transition so fast!
A BIG thank you to all, it is great how easy this transition has been!

I'm waiting for the Mac fix for posting pics and than I'll be posting. Took a ton of pics as I was a newb, and I'm patiently waiting to share and put out a decent trip report.

It is not so much a "Mac fix" as a Safari fix that is coming. The Macs post pics just fine using Firefox, give it a try!

Me neither. Problem is I was using Chrome and Safari and didn't download Firefox until about an hour ago. All is good now. Thanks for the tip Rob.

Glad I started on here early as it took me a while to figure it out, but know its all good and really like some of the new features.

I can only post pics that I previously resized and my pics appear very small. I have to click twice to open them up to the size they should be. When I try to "Insert Picture" they ask for the URL, so I can't do it that way. I never saw the "pencil" others describe. Only way I can post a pic is by clicking on the paper clip. I suppose I'll eventually get it.
I'm still trying to learn about posting pictures. So far I was only able to do so with a previously resized one. Here we go...

Sometimes it took several seconds, if not a minute or longer to get the pencil to appear after I uploaded a picture. If you don't see the pencil right away wait a few seconds and try again. I haven't done any testing but my hunch is the larger the original picture the longer it takes for the pencil to appear. Following that same "hunch" I'm guessing there may be some background processes running after picture is uploaded that need to complete before the image is ready for resizing and the pencil to appear.

Why are some picture big and some small thumbnails you have to click on?
The poster has to adjust the size after adding it to the post. If you do not adjust the size it will appear as a thumbnail. Clicking on it will make it larger. If you are using a Mac you will need to use Firefox. I tried both Safari and Chrome and had no luck with either.
