Folks, Canoe does the BEST kingfish in Negril. Its all in the selection of the proper cut of fish.
PS, if they have the mango-pineapple snapper, its to die for.....

Mrs. Peel and I were in Canoe when a car with a trunk full of Kingfish pulled up.
A guy from the car with a mitt full of Kingfish and a large commercial scale approached a table of (very) sophisticated African American women.
The woman (who appeared to be the queen bee) waved him off saying, " I only want one."
Dude returned with one fish and the scale and the story had a happy ending.

Every meal we have had at Canoe was outstanding,hats off to Kirby and all the great people who make the wheels turn at the Canoe,see you next November!!!
i will be there in march..... where are you located on the west end???? are you the chef?? i love kingfish!!!! I had trouble
one year finding it at da restaurants in negril last year. (maybe it was out of season)?
hi scotch bonnet gal we are located less than a kilo meter up the road just past the hi-lo supermarket or if you check the map associated with negril.com you should be able to find us. although am not the chef i can tell you that we always carry a variety of fresh local fish including kingfish. looking forward to seeing you soon

sure scotch you can check it out when you get here...and yes i know where home sweet home is but we are before you get to there jus by MX3 where the annual bob marley birthday concert is held you can not miss it our beach is basically the biggest on the west end rite infront our beach you will see the boat dock i will post a picture so you can see...Attachment 8787 look for that land mark and you are here

Staying up near the Negril airport ..do you offer free transportation for happy hour / dinner ?

actually negriljail we do not have a shuttle service right now but we can assure you that there are certified red plate taxi operators that will get you safely here and back at a reasonable price,and if you want i can provide you with a number that you can call and he will take care of you

okay wat2do ...route taxi it is then...shuttle service for happy hour/dinner may be a good idea in the future ..no ??? a captive audience that way ..mi seems to get distracted rather easily ..like most folks tell me ..i have a great memory ..it's just short !!!
We visited here last year and it was a wonderful experience. My wife and Wench were shopping at the Sun Island Outlet down the road. They got some good deals. I got a better one. Cold Red Stripe and an wonderful view of the beach. Looking forward to a couple of return visits on this upcoming reach that we have! :)
