Which west end bars do you think have the coldest beer?
The bar we stopped at first on the bar crawl had AMAZINGLY cold Red Stripes.

Red Dragon has the coldest Red Stripe in Negril, bar none!!!
Gotta agree with the above post...Red Dragon, hands down...the coldest and cheapest RS of our entire trip!!
the bottle is placed in front of you @ red dragon and 1 minute later it's white and so frosty it almost slides out of your hand.

We will have to try Red Dragon as we have never been there.Been to alot of places that had ice cold beers one time but not the next,i think it depends on how busy they are and if they are in a refigerated cooler or on ice.Pack a cooler full of Red Stripes and ice and you have some cold damn beers!!!
I have only been to Red Dragon a little before noon and they were not frosty... I made the mistake of getting there too early and the pork was not ready, so we grabbed a couple of beers. They must have just been put in a short while before to take care of the pork crowd was my reasoning. Canoe had some frosty beers, but as a few others have mentioned, No Limit has some cold beer.
The Red Dragonfor sure, have had nice cold ones other places , but its hit and miss.
I almost always carry mi own cooler bag packed with ice ...then just refill at the bars ..need mi beers ice cold !!
Red Dragon DOES have some cold, cold beers...but it's not in the West End, it's in Red Ground.
The coldest beer in the West End can be found at...3 Dives...others can be quite chilly, but I've found theirs to be consistently the coldest!
When is the best time to go to Red Dragon for the jerk pork?
On the beach... the bar at Beach House Villas. They keep the RS in the freezer.
On the beach...Tony's Hut has had ice cold Stripe every time we've stopped in.
the real question is which bar has the hottest patrons???

Key point if it's Red Stripe drink it fast - not the greatest even a likkle warm.
We often split one just to get it down cold.
By day three I was drinking Heineken's.
Red Stripe warmish is a bitter beer.

No Limit Bar is across from Pee Wees and basically next to the L&M store...also near the Blue Cave Castle.
I understand the pork is usually soldout by about 4:00 pm so get there early for a pork appetizer.Quote:
