Club MoBay at Sangster International Airport is Awesome

Just returned home last Sunday and decided to try Club MoBay. If you have a few hours to kill before your flight it is definitely worth the $35.00 charge. It's $30.00 if you purchase the tickets at your hotel. Just the Fast Track alone through immigration and security is worth the price as you will bypass the long lines as you are escorted through. They provide unlimited free drinks, sandwiches, snacks, free WiFi and flat screen televisions throughout for your entertainment. Also, for an additional charge, you can order from Margaritaville and your food will be delivered to you. In addition, they will notify you when your flight is ready to board. The staff is very professional and friendly and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Sound really awesome!! Haven't tried it yet but it is sounding better all the time. Probably a dumb question, but when you say free drinks, is this soft drinks, beer, mixed drinks or what?
I assume that is 35/30 per person.

This would be great to try...I just hate getting to the airport so early!

As per a thread on this a couple of weeks ago, beer & rum drinks are included. They also have showers which could be nice & refreshing before getting on the plane....and comfy armchairs.

Do just the bigger AIs sell passes, or pretty much all hotels?

All drinks are included Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic. They have a bartender in each lounge. It is such an awesome way to spend your time at the airport before heading home. I cannot recommend it enough.

I know when we stayed at Secrets they sell the passes because we have done that but I am not sure about all hotels. We have not had a problem buying passes at the airport. That may change now that our secret is getting out! :D

$35...inc drinks and food? So basically the same cost as Margaritaville...with couches and TV?

Well, the food is mostly finger sandwiches, small bags of chips, plantains, cookies and some fruit. It is definitely worth it but last trip we ended up ordering from Bobsled Cafe and they brought it to our lounge. That was extra of course but with all the free drinks we needed something more substantial.

Is there a smoking section?? I alway buy a drink from bob sled reastaraunts where I suck down two smokes before my flight.

No there is not unfortunately but the Bobsled bar is really close.

Been a few times, very very worth it, get to go thru security and immigration faster, also.

Husband and I just did this on Sunday. Fast track would be awesome if there is a long line. Sunday afternoon was quiet so there were no lines at all. We definitely enjoyed the "open bar".We probably drank $30 worth of alcohol (martini, margarita and multiple glasses of wine). Food consisted of sandwiches, bags of chips and peanuts, yogurt, and bruchetta. Slept like a baby on the flight home for the first time ever. They announce your flight and by the time you get to your gate they are boarding the plane. Would definitely do this again.

Where is the entramce to ClubMobay although it seems strange thinking of leaving before I get there.. Just 7 more days.

The entrance is to the left of where you enter the immigration area. There is a big booth where you buy your ticket. The club is just past the Bob Sled Restaurant (but before you get to Margaritaville). There is an elevator that takes you down to the ground floor.

Loved it. Well worth the $$ just for the zip through security and immigration. The food was average but the drinks softened the blow of leaving Jamaica :-).

Definitely, definitely worth it! The food is just eh, it's basically just snacks, but you can always have better food delivered to the lounge if you are really hungry. The real bonus is getting through security faster, and having a really comfortable place to kick back while waiting for a flight. Btw, you can get free club access with the Amex Plat card.
