So excited that Comcast has the movie on demand!! I am psyched beyond words. Going to get prepared for an evening of bliss here at home since I can't be in Negril. Got the rum and rum cream already...to set the mood (best I can do guys) and since I am an evening person....going to wait till about 10-11pm to start watching. Gotta watch it Jamaican style, late evening just feels more appropriate. Can't wait!!!!!:)

We went to the premiere last night which was quite the PARTY!!!
The film was supposed to start at 7;15 but it was closer to 9 by the time it got rolling so I have to admit that after 4 hours of the cocktail reception I had some trouble focusing on the movie so instead pretty much stayed in the lounge area even though we had seats at the front but I will watch it over the weekend once it finishes downloading...

UPDATE: I have now watched the film a few times and like it more and more each time...there is so much new footage and wonderful interviews...really loving it :)
That's why ths board rules....no idea this was happening and nw I'm watching it.. Right now.
WOW, to watch it in Kingston...perfection!! I totally enjoyed it, so glad that I was able to watch it on my tv in HD rather than my laptop. The last words of the movie truly moved me. The vivid description of Bob losing his dreads brought tears to my eyes. The pictures of him after that........well, one could just see his spirit becoming weaker. Congrats to Mr. MacDonald for a documentary well done!

Every time I tried on the various sources came back with "not available in your area".... I am in Canada. Have any other Canadians found a source, or do we have to wait until the general release? I am so looking forward to seeing this!
If you go to Fandango.com you can look for theaters in your area. Or you can go to http://www.bobmarley.com/marley_the_movie.php and look for ways to view it (down the middle of page). There is a list on the right side of theaters.
We went to see it yesterday in Houston and I cannot recommend it enough.
4 x's in the last 40 hours I have taken that little trip. Surround sound helps greatly. Had a couple of couples that are fellow Negril travelers over last night and after some great rotisserie jerk chicken (I have found a McCormicks Caribbean chicken rub that I am putting in the spice mill and adding a touch more all spice and 1 dried scotch bonnet pepper to) 6 adults sat down and were pretty darn quiet as they took in the story, very quiet at the end.

Friends of ours in New Brunswick had the same problem. Try Amazon on demand. Our friends could download and watch it from there.Quote:
