4 New rooms at Seastar Inn - construction photos

The new rooms at Seastar are coming along nicely. I have pretty much been living in the pool for the past 2 weeks so I've been in awe watching the progress. When I was here in Janauary the 2nd level was not even started - now they are doing alot of work on the stairs to the room and to the roof.
The cement for the steps is passed by hand, person to person, in a plastic pail.

Cool pics. When I was there a couple a weeks ago they were doing the stucco. Nice to see the progression. I'm curious as to the get well date too, I want to book one of those rooms......

Just spoke with Chris - he is expecting it to be finished for November 1st, 2012

I've been going there for years. It's bittersweet to see the progress and change. Part of me just loves that Chris and Francine are moving onward and upward, but part of me wishes tings could just stay the same.
I will always have my memories to hold onto, though. Sweet memories, sweet photos and hopefully sweet times to come.
Congratulations to all involved in Seastar's evolution and advancement.

The boat is still there (the other side of the rooms)

When we were there in December, they hadn't even poured the footings! This looks real good! Looking forward to seeing it live in Dec!

I'm tellin' ya Tawnee, they really aught to have nude sunbathing up there on the new roof! LOL

I've booked one of the lower rooms for Dec. 29-Jan. 2 so I sure hope they're ready!! It'll be my first time at Seastar (and Negril) and I can't wait to spend time at the inn and see the Saturday show!

they hadn't put the roof(concrete cap) on as yet on the second floor........

I booked two for my next reach and keep in mind if you want the upstairs rooms they are the even numbers(18,20). Odd's are downstairs(17,19), all however have king beds!!
