Hands down it's Catcha Falling Star or Seastar. Check them both out.
Full disclosure: I haven't stayed anywhere else on the West End. LOL
Do you have a favorite room at Catcha?
We love Venus (which is a one bedroom suite) but have stayed in Sagi and enjoyed it. Have also heard great things about Libra.
Sagi is horrible! Don't book it!

Catcha is awesome but if you don't mind being across the street from the water, Catcha Gardens is a great place (same owners) at a great price!! Plus LTU is right across the street with some great food and one of the best views on the cliffs. The staff there is great too!!

For a great value on the cliff side you can't beat the Blue Cave Castle. Great vibe, unique rooms, Chef Teddy's amazing food and all the free Blue Mountain coffee you can drink!
I'm doing the whoop whoop dance b/c I'll be in Venus in 50 days! WHOOP WHOOP :)

We really like Banana Shout, but for value it probably hard to beat Seastar.

I don't think there are many bad choices at all.
Glad I found some Catcha experts here!! We're coming home in November for 9 nts. Have stayed on the beach in the past at an all-inclusive. This time we have Idle Awhile booked but thought we'd split the trip and stay 3 nts on the cliffs. I would really like to try Catcha. Libra and Sagi are booked (darn, of course). Our choices are Pisces (like that its private but too small?) Gemini I & II (not so private cause its shared?) or Sun / Venus (been leaning away from those because I love the simple old authentic Jamaican feel??) . Any advise/comments would be greatly appreciated!!
Pisces. Bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I feel Gemini II is the best of the Gemini's if you are leaning in that direction.
Xtabi, seemed to get many, many great reviews. It its also not too expensive to get seaside. I'm staying in #8 (be there Thursday, yea!) for $81 and change for each night. And they will give an 8% cash discount off that upon arrival. That sealed the deal for me.
Disclaimer: I've never be to Negril. I therefore know nothing. However, the place has the rep of curing Katho sized hangovers!

that's a really good price for a room right there on the cliffs. I do love snorkeling at Xtabi, and their food is really great, and am considering what it would be like to stay there..
After looking around, I think we are going to do Xtabi. Their Summer rates kick in before most of the other places on the cliffs, and that's going to work well for us.
