In 13 hours and 20 minutes I WILL BE LANDING IN JA!

I should be trying to finish up my packing, but I am dragging it out because once I'm done I won't be able to sleep anyway so I am just doing a little bit here...a little bit there...stopping to paint my toes :D

I am excited and anxious and nervous all wrapped up into one very discombobulated feeling! I was (am) dreading the packing because in the last 2 months I have packed up my house, put it in storage, unpacked the storage, movers didn't show, packed up storage again, lived out of suitcases, unpacked storage, moved, (semi) unpacked boxes at new house and now had to pack again for this trip. I AM SO OVER PACKING!

But at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Have a wonderful time!! I am so wishing I were going this summer but it doesn't look like it is going to happen. So, have another big jolt of fun for me and all the boardies that can't make it this summer. Drink, eat, smile, and dance like no one is watching just for me!!

We just got back...the weather was HOT, HOT, HOT! I highly recommend 'Ciao Jamaica" on the cliffs- Italian food with a Jamaican twist! We loved it so much- we ate there 2 nights in a row!!! Safe travels;)

Ok, so I am here!!!!! I arrived yesterday to some grey skies...but no worries, it cleared up quickly! Stopped at Mega Mart and got some essentials...you know Rum Cream, JB, Ginger Wine...and some crackers! LOL. Got to Negril around 3pm and shortly after it started storming..which was Ok. I just used that time to unpack a few things and just RELAX! I need some quiet relaxation this time around. Not to say I won't be mixing some fun in there...but I don't feel pressured to fit as much as I can in since this trip is longer than most...

So far I haven't even left the Villa....had my friend bring me some real food(Veg Patties and Pourage)...I can't live off crackers and granola bars. And have spend the rest of the day practicing the art of doing nothing. Read some of "Eat,Pray,Love", sat on the verandah, listened to some music...Yup, that's about it. I am going to probably head down to Canoe for the webcast in a few hours so maybe I will see some of you there! Likkle More!

Ok on day 2 I so far have maintained the art of doing nothing....I did make it to Canoe last night around 7pm. There weren't many people there. Chatted with Rob for a few, got 2 dirty Bananas and a tuna melt to go...that sucker was GOOD! Walked back to the Villa and just chilled out and listened to my fried play some music.

Today I had good intentions..I got up and saw the sun was out so my plan was to get my bathing suit on and head out to the deck and catch some sun...well after dilly dallying around it got kind of over cast....so I decided I would just make a Stone&Gravel and chill out...so that's what I did...around 3 got some rice and veggies from Ras Rody's, ate a bit then carried on with the drinking. Now I am trying to decide what to wear for the evening...hunny is playing at Bella Donna and he just left for there so I am going to finish my drink, get dressed and head over there. It's sprinkling outside so I will wait til it let's up. Got some Ken Booth playing..life is good :)

Got 3 bottles...1 is already gone so I'm down to 2. And I they did not have the Cake vodka at the liquor store I went to so I got Whipped and Key Lime...been mixing the Whipped with the Rum Cream, and I haven't braved the Key Lime yet...thinking of mixing it with Ting? Eh, I'll just wing it!

I would say yes, try the key lime with ting. I actually mixed cake vodka with ting the other day and it was quite good!

Moonlight Villa...Ras Rody's and Jus Natural are my favorite places to eat. I want to try Hungry Lion as I have heard good things about the food there also. SO many places to eat, so little time!

Day 3 and I feel like I must get out and DO something. I'm thinking I might walk down to Canoe and just enjoy the beach there and grab some lunch...I though about heading down to 7 mile but I am not in a chatty mood, so Canoe fits the bill. The clouds have been rolling in early afternoon lately so hopefully I can catch a few hours of sun beore that happens...

I'm starting to realize that I am not very good at organizing things on my own. Or should I say turning plans into actually doing them...I have plans in the morning but it seems like things just get away from me, so unless there is someone for me to meet at a specific time or whatever, chances are it's not going to happen. So as I look back on the last week I realize I've have really been slacking. I've been to Canoe once, Bella Donna, the China man store, into No Limit Bar to grab a beer and hung out with some random person I met on the road and just reasoned for a bit. I think rolling solo most of the time just get a little old....Ok people so give me some ideas!
