Anyone else headed down?
Hahahahahaha
thats awesome. How long did it take you to book another?
Well let's see. we got back may 20.. haha.
We only did 4 nights. Was not enough.. we stayed at an AIC. Spent most of the time wandering the beach. decided to try the Yellow Bird. Trying to convince another couple to grab the other half of the cottage. My family might get a cottage also.
Anyone do Thanksgiving down there before?
Join our November roll call. Think it's on page 2. Are you sure 7 days is going to be enough? ;)
Ya mon! you got it BAD! LOL
Have a feeling this ones gonna be even better....imagine that ok....just wait. LOLOL
I can't wait to just stroll the beach with my back pack and beach towel and stop at each drink spot and plop down in the sand for a week straight.
Me n wifey will be down for turkey day! Did thanksgiving as well a couple years ago and had fun- we bought 2 whole chickens from bentley and fed the neighborhood and neighborhood dogs! Chicken for all! hahaha See yas down there on the rock!
Chekc out di cliffs dude...did you do that last time?? If not you need to take a trip to the best end ;)
Ricks doesn't count :p
Well hook me up yo!
Fersure....
Most def. go to Eddies De Bar to eat, drink, and hang out.
After 5 you can go and hang out at Catcha Falling Star if you're eating or drinking at the bar....great vibe, staff, cliffs for jumping....if you can you should treat your lady to dinner there, its a sure thing. So good, and really beautiful.
I haven't gone yet but Xtabi is on my bucket list. Supposed to have great food/bar and really cool caves, and good spot to snorkel around...
You should think about going on the One Love Pub Crawl, cause it hits a bunch of different spots on the cliffs so it would be a good way to get a feel around that end.
I'd recommend a stop by the C&D Country Western Bar for anyone (course I'm a tx girl)....Connie is the best, and it's a fun spot to have a cold stripe.
I'm sure someone else can chime in with good ideas....Booger???
You actually did go to Xtabi, but it was closed so we just checked out the caves. I would also hit Sexy Rexy up, Spyda's, LTU, Sir D's/Firewater, Seastar. Many more cool spots to check out like Mi Yard if you get the midnight munchies. And you can't leave out Canoe.
The stupid section is only for those young at heart.
Definately do the bar crawl Thanksgiving week,it is a total blast,we are going with at least one other couple and maybe more.Been to Negril 9 Thanksgivings and always had an awesome time!!
Please. More info about bar crawl.
We are in our 20s. Stupid zone might be cool?
I saw sexy rexy rolling a spliff on YouTube.
I love November/Thanksgiving trips-- I have done many as the days off from work make it possible to get an 11 day trip taking just taking 5 vacay days off the job. Plus it is really nice weather-wise, still low season rates and not too slow but still not high season population. Love November in JA. Also my family is all on the west coast and we don't really get to do the whole Thanksgiving vibe together so Jamaica makes me feel like instead of missing out--I am getting a holiday treat. Enjoy-- and do check out some of the cliff spots. Xtabi is great if you want to hang out during the day, eat great food, drink great drinks, jump off nice rocks and snorkel.
Check out the Jerkfest at 3-Dives the last Sunday of Nov.
Our "must dos" on the cliffs:
Bar crawl for an awesome day and a tour of the cliff bars
Xtabi for another awesome day but in a swim suit
Eddies for the bar or yardie food
Just Natural for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
Pee Wee's for the bar or breakfast
Ivan’s at Catcha for a nice sunset drinks or an upscale meal
Timm
Just Natural is moving further down the cliff road. Your driver will know where, I just can't remember the street name of the top of my head. Anyone know that?
Yeah good call N5! I think you will like the stupid zone....me and booger spent some quality time there hahaha...its pretty self explanatory lol
Dude are you sure? Cause I really dont remember that and I think I would remember cause I was real gung-ho about taking a pic in that cave for the calender....not saying it didn't happen....but at this point I'm not sure whose memory is less credible yours or mine. LOL
Flip you should definately check out one of the webcasts at Canoe. Top notch place with a real chill vibe and a little beach. Steel Drum band plays. And most likely get to meet other boardies. :) Oh and order the Lionfish!!!!
On the cliffs, don't forget Pee Wee's!!! Would also recommend a visit to Miss Mae at Josephs Cave for an eye opening Jamaican experience and one of the coolest swims you can imagine...
Hylton Avenue is the street for Just Natural, 876 957-0235 is Theresa's phone number.
When is Just Natural moving? I was looking forward to walking over when staying at Xtabi.
I'd like to hear more about swimming at Joseph's Cave...?
