Why......Great Location, Great Staff, Great Beach & Beach Bar, Free Breakfast Buffet, Local Family owned business, watersports on site, massages by Cher or Monica, Lunch time jerk chicken ......I could go on and on

Kuyaba without question.

Awesome restaurant, great vibes, nice rooms at a reasonable price, great beach location, hotel is surrounded by plenty of excellent eating options, coolest birds in Negril (Buddy & Charlie), and I can keep going on and on.....lol.

Kuyaba is very romantic.

HAHA Mr. Twister !!!! Yea I love Kuyaba's food and Birds too but their beach is a little narrow and no pool & hot tub....AND
Gail is running a special for the Treehouse, I'm gonna have to buy that voucher !!!!!!!
We all have our favorite hotels and opinions, honestly I'd stay anywhere on the beach and be happy just to be in Negril !!!

Nirvana for me, although it's not really a hotel. Huge beach for the small number of guests, plenty of shade. Several rooms directly on the beach, most with full kitchens. No bar or restaurant, so no non-guests wandering around the property. Very close to many bars and restauarants. Great staff, many who have been there for a long time.

Idle Awhile...small property, nice beach, lots of shade...rooms are nice, a little upscale and have a great covered veranda with a couch, table and chairs...nice little covered beach restaurant with good food too...
CocoLaPalm junior suite...huge...cool shower with multiple shower heads :-) good restaurant and bar too...Two pools and a large hot tub if that matters...

Oops,forgot we want to do AI,mi wife wants to stay in Negril,Rhodes will have to wait:),of course we WILL hit up the webcast on time this go around:)

Swept Away ?

If you are set on an AI, I have been to Couples Negril and Couples Swept Away. Swept Away is on 7 mile beach so you can walk off the property and go explore whatever, but I liked Couples Negril better. Both are lovely though if you are determined to stay at an AI! Couples Negril is on Bloody Bay and it is really pretty. You can walk off the property a ways and check out this place called Office of Nature and have fresh caught seafood. When we were there, they had a round wooden bar at which you could sit. If you stay at one of the Couples property, you can sign up for their romance rewards program before you go and that makes you eligible for a program where you can spend the day at the other Couples property, so you can check them both out. Their night snorkeling trip was really neat. Scary, but neat.

My wife wants AI,so she dont have to worry about eating ect...IMO,I say it weights out about the same with more places to try and your not "locked down" at the resort all the time

I'm all about adventure.Me,I would like to stay up in da hills and then go to the beach and then walk and chill out and check out webcasts ect...

You could look at the AI option at Charela Inn. Smaller, mid-beach property. All food served off menu (no buffet), or room service. Great beach,staff, and security. Onestop Vacations has a great deal now, and are fabulous people to work with. My wife and I enjoy the location. Easy walk either way to beach bars, etc. Book any water view (not garden) room.

I second the suggestion of Charela. Great location and awesome staff. Classy and elegant without being stuffy or pretentious. Get one of the upper level ocean front rooms and you can't go wrong!

Charela is nice...we had dinner there one night and it was great...it's a cool little property, if they have an ai option that would be a good choice...lots of nice places close by too.

A/I, Couples Swept Away or Hedonism II, non A/I, coco la palm jr suite! both excellent!
