Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
Tommorow is the big day, gets here fast when you book only two weeks away! Have a long list for today bank, haircut, pack, buy shoes without holes( dont want anyone to mistake me for Smith) Oh and besides all that have to work too. And see if I can find a deal on a netbook to bring as both my laptop and netbook are not working. Anyway will be in Negril tommorrow and let the sideways blurry pictures begin.

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
So we arrived thursday, all was smooth on time and were upgraded to first class on the flight from Atlanta from the fancy new terminal there, was nice to travel in style! So breezed through customs and Kenny was there waiting, quick stop at the Hilo for supplies, and on to Negril. Moved right in our villa kicked back and then route taxied it down to Canoe! After I put the old guy and young guy to bed I made my way to the Jungle! Was really busy and had a good time. Stopped for some soup from Marcus and made it back by 4. long day as we got up at 3:30 am to get to the airport!

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
Friday: we started in the morning to find breakfast, but that never happened, so we decided we would work our way down to Bourben Beach for lunch. Any way the SSunnyside and Maureen,s beautiful smile got in the way, not to mention the Redstripes! WE did finally get there and met the new owner who it turns out is from our home town, and we know several of the same people, nice guy, will go back for sure. After some more Redstripes we made several stops on the way back including Alfreds, Fun Holiday, and the Wild Parrott where we got stuck to the barstools for Quite some time

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
Back to the villa for a shower and then off to find some more food! Walking the beach road during ATI is interesting to say the least! So we wandered down to the Italian pizza cafe, was some good pizza. after vthat it was time to bring the old guy and young guy back as it was getting close to bed time for them, lol, not really, But anyway It was time to head out and hook up for the Naked ATI party.

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
It might be a new one the Impy Skimpy was across the road at the Jungle and the Twisted spirits was at Ziggy,s watersports, all goin on at the same time. All were busy, and the road was full of party people. I thought I took a longer good video, but not sure what happened or where it went, rum may factore into that!

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
Ok, I saw you posted some pics at Wavz...so you are forgiven! yeah, I've also had camera malfunctions when alcohol was involved...it happens! By the time I get there Wednesday all the fun will be over...

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
The last few days flew by lots of Redstripe and partying. We got soaked last night on the way back from Alfred,s picked up some conch soup on the way back, it was really good, then the power went off and we crashed!

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
So saturday was a beach day we pretty much hung out close to the water as it was really hot! So my son wanted to hit Seastar for the buffet so I called and was able to get early pickup before the ATI traffic started. We hung out at the bar there and loaded up on food washed down by a bucket of Redstripe! It was really quiet so we headed around 9;30 or 10. Made a stop at Ivan,s to say hi to everyone, then down the west end road with many stops, including No Limit, Jenny,s and a few I might not remember. So my son is telling me some of these bars are nice and some are a little sketchy!
Gave me an idea! Hmm sketchy so he asks where are we goin, I tell him dont worry I want show you a new place, ha. Anyway we head through town and start up the stairs where some dude is coming down the stairs walkking on his hands, for real. So after a security pat down in we go!
I bring him over to the bar and order "Redstripe and a pepsi please" pay and tell him stay here I gotta take a leak be right back! There was fine young lady next to us I figure she would keep an eye on him until I get back, lol
We hung out for a bit finished our drinks, and mission was complete, now he has experianced a sketchy bar! lmao

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
We were not finished yet we were trying to get to Bourben beach but never made it, we did stop at the new Barbbarn sports bar, just opened across the road from barbbarn. Had a beer talked to a few nice young lady,s workin there, then headed out.
Stopped out front for a bowl of conch soup and back up the road by the time we got around Bourben beach it was like 1:00 am and were getting tired as we had walked from Seastar. So was time to call it a night although we still had a good walk to go.

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
Trip highlights soon, although part of the problem is that the rum punch cut in on the Redstripe! Dont think I ever drank that much in one trip ever. There were at least 3 or maybe 4 party until 4 am in a row!

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
So glad to hear from someone who went to Jamaica for the 50th and ATI. I am still floating on a cloud and it's too much to tell. I get happy & worn out just thinking about it. My trip can be summed up in 2 min so I will not start my own thread. In a nutshell we were in same hotel as Beenie Man, Elephant Man and Sean Paul. I figured out I was a little too old for the ATI crowd so ended up going to several AWESOME local parties and hung with friends we have met on past trips. Went to a huge concert in the back of the Jungle on independance day, and am still recovering from my motorcycle burn....it was all worth it. Oh...I forgot to mention...I think I fell in love :o
Ok Poolguywindsor, cant wait to hear about your experience!!! But I have one question..... did you see enough butt cheeks and buff chest on this trip or what!! Gorgeous folks all over the place!!!

Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
Lot's of activity down there during ATI. I had to take naps everyday to manage. Fun Times!
-
Re: Trail of bottle caps ATI version!
I only was at one of the official ATI parties, and it was the Naked one at Wavz,$3500 AI which include all Appleton rum Redbull and Wata, along with a nice spread of food! Must have been good as I stayed until 4 am. Saw an old friend from Montego Bay there.
