ok, here are the members that we've gotten so far...

if anyone has any webcasts or other events we could meet and party at, we would b interested..
some of our favorite memories from last reach were with other people we met from the board....some of these
day trips are more fun in groups...

is there a list of webcasts for sept and maybe other events ....
maybe a list of which night the dofferent partys are at, i think i saw where margarttaville had something friday night, maybe...
is it ltu or seastar on sat....it gets very confusing...

I like to go, go, go, so I dont miss anything, enjoying the different subs along each stop...Janet likes the sit and relax, sand gravity, etc...
enjoying the red stripes, and rum punch.....so we meet in the middle, she will go, go, go as long as once we get there she can relax and enjoy, while I go explore....then I will take her to see the highlights of what I may have found....this usually gives us two different perspectives of excursions, and gives good material for our trip reports...

can't wait, i prob didnt get on this board 3-4 times since the new site, last trip was halloween 2010, and wife and I both had cancer take members of our immediate family since that trip. that is a long hard road, this is a much needed get away, back to our "rock",...janet has been lurking since she booked a few months ago, everydayI didn't get on til she asked me to decide where to stay 1st night, so I found BB deal, asked some questions, and now am hooked again....everyday, several times a day, I am checking for new info, read all new posts and replies, these two weeks are just poking along, but the two weeks we on holiday will fly by, funny how that works...

Thanks for consolidating the dates for everyone.

We will be at the SeaStar Sat night casts on the 1st and the 8th. We are also planning on doing the Wed (i believe that's the day) pub crawl, and catching some of the other webcasts throughout our stay.

Wanting to go to Pelican Bar and the Falls one day .... probably after we move to the beach. The rest is up to da wife!!! She da boss!!;)

Hey Groove, I have the same problem ...... always checking the board to see what's new. I think it's part of the excitement about the upcoming trip! Sounds like this is a much needed one for you guys.

The pub crawl on Wednesday is still up in the air, depends on how far I get with my scuba certification that day.
On Thursday we want to check out the Canoe webcast and then hit Bourbon Beach if the West End Gang is playing. (They are playing at our wedding in November).
Seastar on Saturday night is a for sure for us, wouldn't miss it! So that will be on the 8th.
Sunday is my soon-to-be Hubby's birthday, so dinner at Ivan's is a for sure!
On Monday I would like to go out on a snorkel trip with Famous Vincent and spend the rest of the day relaxing on the verandah!

We are also talking about squeezing a day trip to Nine Mile while we are down this time, but depending on how things go, it might just have to wait until next trip when we have more time.

We will definitely have to see if we can get together and enjoy some subs, red stripe and rum punch!

Great update everyone! We haven't planned much in advance except for a Savanna-la-mar Highlight tour with Clives Transport that takes us to Mayfields Falls on Sept 7 as well as the Bus Crawl on Wednesday, Sept 5.

Wanted to do Martha Brae Rafting/ZipLine tour but it was just not worth it for me to travel east of the Airport from Negril.

I've emailed twice for the bus crawl but haven't heard back. Maybe I have the wrong email address..could someone post it so I know I have the right one. Thanks!

We'd also like to go to the Pelican bar, but it seems to be quite expensive ($100 or more per person?) If anyone knows a way to do this without breaking the bank, maybe as a larger group, I'd be interested...

Hey Harry, we have reserved the Savanna-La-Mar highlight tour on Sept 7 which includes Mayfield Falls. I could reach out to my tour operator and see if it would be possible to add on the Pelican trip to that tour and get a rate quote for 4 people to see if that would save us some money.

Have you done Mayfield falls before? I have visited YS Falls as well as the Black River and do not wish to do these again. Never gone to Pelican before and would love to. Please let me know if you are interested.

Thanks for this list! I have talked to my fiance about the pub crawl on the 5th, and we both think we would enjoy it. I am hesitating, though, because we will only be in Negril a few days, and we are trying to plan as little as possible to optimize relaxation. The only thing i know for certain is that we will be at Ivans for dinner some night that week. I really can't wait. Does anyone know it it possible to book the pub crawl within a day or so to see how we feel when we get there? Thanks again!

From speaking to Rob today, I think you can go on the Wednesday crawl with 'a moment's notice'.... maybe not that short, but you catch what I mean. I think RinaKim (her and her husband to be) and my wife and I are going. Would love for you to join us as I hear it will be a blast ... the more the merrier!!!

My wife and I haven't visited any of them, when we visited Jamaica last year we caught the "sand gravity" and didn't do much of anything but relax! This time we'd like to spend a day or two exploring, with the Pelican Bar being the only thing I don't want to miss. Which day are you planning for your excursion? Any idea on price?

Harry, I've sent you a PM with the details. We intend on doing the tour on Friday the 7th.

Well, call me crazy but I just changed our flights .... decided 7 days wasn't enough so we are now staying an extra 4 days and will be coming home on the 15th instead of the 11th ..... whoooooohoooooooo!!!

Had to change our cottage at Catcha in order to budget in the extra nights so will now be staying 7 nights in the Gatehouse cottage instead of 3 nights in the Star Cottage, but that's a-okay with me.

Even better, if I can't fit the pub crawl in on the 5th, we can do it on the 12th :)

It's not too far away now, getting darned excited.

My wife(Julie) and I(Chris) will be at the Seastar Sept 8-15. Our plan is to do absolutely nothing for the most part.
I'm up for the pub crawl on the 12th and thought about the Pelican bar, but that's a lot of Red Stripes! Probably try to get to Dandys restaurant for some seafood.

Sept. 22nd to 29th, coco la palm
