Who all will be there running it? And are you doing the full, the half, or the 10k?
I am running the half along with 7 of my friends, and another 3 are doing the 10k.

I did the full in 2002 with my daughter and the half in 2005 with my daughter and my then fiancee. It's an awesome event, have fun! We arrive this year a couple days after.
I wil doing the full marathon this will be year #11 for me. But I do it by "WALKING"
That's awesome Gail! I am always amazed by the people that have the endurance to walk a full marathon! Takes great commitment.
I am planning on the 10 k first time for me!
PGW - Have you started training yet, or are you one of "those" people that can just throw on a pair of shoes and go for a long run? :p

Just started running again, could be ready for 10K by then...
May have to spring it on her.
Would really love to run the 10K but unfortunately, we won't be arriving until later that month. :( Maybe next year!
I read that AA is even offering discounted flights to JA for those who are signed up to run.
Hi Gail... How long does it take to "walk" the full marathon? I have signed up for the marathon but starting to have some knee pain after 2 hr runs so may end up walking the last half of the run. Looking forward to being in Jamaica soon :)Quote:
