We are going to Beaches Negril in March 13. We are taking our adult children and their significant others to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It will be our 11th trip to Negril and we can't wait!
that's right gregandkelly....you guys had booked GP like us, didn't you?...I tried to get them to keep us in Negril, but they wouldn't budge....but refunded my deposit.....&%$#ing Sandals.....

Yes, lisapat. We got lucky. The Travel Agent said there was nothing he could do. My wife got on the phone and gave them "what for". They told us to have the travel agent call them back and by the next day we were moved back to Negril! LOL
When my wife is determined....watch out!

Change of plans here...we will be changing hotels due to the fact that "Couples Resorts " will be taking over BGN and being that Mom & I are not "a couple" we willbe switching to The Rui Tropical Bay beacuse we love The Bloody Bay side...( so sad to see BGN go away BUT excited to see what kind of overhaul Couples will do with the property)

We are bringing newbies on march 1st. Heading out to Westender for third time. We will have been in treasure beach at sunset resort and villas for four days before so we should be chilled enough to be good tour guides like....here's our room, here's yours...there's the million dollar view, listen to the birds, there's the bar, oh let's go to the beach for the day and stop at canoe for lunch. Then there is always...let's spent a few hours at the pool, eat a pattie, pick up some jerk pork/chicken and don't forget to sit on the bench at the stare at the ocean for awhile each day. As you can see, we are very ambitious tour guides! Our friends leave one week later and we get to stay THREE days longer to kind of debrief.........
Since Grand Pineapple announced yesterday that they are re-opening, Sandals resorts are moving us BACK to GP resort! Good grief! All that arguing with Sandals for nothing! Oh well.....at least we are still in Negril!

Just pulled the trigger tonight....My beautiful wife and I after a couple bottles of wine decided to book Samsara March 29 to April This will be our 3rd trip to wonderful Negril.........countdown is on....can't wait for that "short" landing in Montego
We are more excited about this trip to Negril than we have been for any of our other trips to Negril. We are bringing our adult children on this trip and can't wait to share all the wonderful places we've been going to for years!

My husband and I are going to be visiting Negril for the first time staying at Rooms on the Beach March 10- 17. So excited! Anyone have any info on this hotel? I hear it is good location???
Never too early! We were in Negril this past June and will be back Feb 28 through March 9! IRIE.
Stayed there for 2 weeks in 2011. Good location, clean and secure. Concrete construction so it's quiet for sleeping. Ice machine is there (bring a collapsable cooler for beer). The bar and restaurant do not have a great reputation. No issue though...it's only a short walk in either direction to find great places to eat, drink and hang.Quote:

March -one of my favorite months to spend time in Jam...Weather is great and not too crowded...Have no idea if I'll be making my way to Negril...but most certainly will be in Jamaica...
