On site quick trip report

Just finished my banana pancakes here at Catcha.....mmmmm delicious and what a view with your morning coffee!! We have had a blast with beautiful hot sunny weather! Took a taxi down to beach yesterday....did the bar crawl..lol. Hung out at Margaritaville, Barrys, Treehouse, and cosmos.

Had my first caribbean lobster at LTU last night. It was awesome, alot more meaty than I expected and grilled perfectly. And the pumpkin soup...yummy mon!! Was thinking of renting a scooter, but think we will just stick to taxi..lol.

About to walk up to lighthouse....never been there, so gonna give it a look. Then its back to the beach and do a red stripe walk in the other direction. Coldest red stripes so far.....Barrys...nice and frosty!!

Ok...time to get off this puter and get out and explore!! We have to head back to the real world early sunday am. Yall come on down I will buy you a stripe!!

J! how exciting that you are chillin in Negril. Are you stayin in the big villa or one of the cottages? I love Catcha so much. Breakfast is my favorite meal there as you said - the view is out of this world gorgeous and the food/juice/coffee tastes even better (try the stuffed potatoes for breakfast - or the fry jack stuffed with what you like). Mmmmmmmmm

Thanks for takin time to share your trip with us. More please (lol). We love to hear about food and prices and I have never been to the lighthouse either so please share the experience.......Soak up every beautiful moment. Bless

Great - Keep it up.

Ok....ye ask, ye receive..lol.....just back from the lighthouse....nice walk....met Sexy Rexy....fun guy to talk to, he invited us to stop in at his place tonight for music, cold drinks and fun!! The lighthouse was really neat! We were told to look for Mr. Johnson, so we found him and he gave us a tour to the top....whew I turned 51 yesterday and it showed on the steep climb up...lol!! But the view from the top was amazing! I would recommend seeing the lighthouse if you havent already.

About to taxi down to the beach, and spend a few hours.....I have been here 2 days and havent even had jerk chicken yet, so we plan on hitting Best in the West today. Never been there either. Good lawd, so many good places to eat...lol!!

Oh yea forgot to mention sun beach was one of our red stripe stops yesterday, met Dennis the Menace....very cool guy!! We are having a blast!! The weather is beautiful again here today....so I guess I better get out there and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!!

I will try to add more tonight from todays adventures.

Sweetness.....staying in the gatehouse cottage....very nice...little noisy with the dogs at night but still getting good sleep. Had the lobster again at LTU tonight...man, what a meal!!

Enjoyed another long day on the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying a dip in the sea every so often. Made it to Best in the West...delicious Jerk Chicken!! We were going to try and get on the pub crawl bus thing....walked out Catcha gate and there they go..lol. Tomorrow is our last full day here..just gonna hang here at catcha and chillax before finishing off at seastar tomorrow night.

Steph....Not sure about Adria....maybe find out something tomorrow....we have been on the go!!

Loving the onsite trip report!! LTU is one of my favourite hang outs, the views are amazing and I people are even better.

Good morning from Catch a Falling Star!!! As Mr. Smith would say Jamaica sweet mon!! Its another beautiful morning here in paradise having my coffee and looking out over the caribbean sea. We have a little construction noise that started this morning but nothing really bad. Its going to be a nice addition when finished.

While walking the beach yesterday saw lots of beach errosion around tonys hut, one of my favorite little beach bars....Tonys looked like it was hanging on for dear life! Had a quick rain shower when we arrived at margaritaville but didnt last long. Had the best onion rings ever at Jimmys place....first time to try them and they were delicious!

Today we are just gonna hang at Catcha and chill, got red stripes in the fridge and dirty bananas at the bar, so we are set. Also today kicks off the college football season and being from the south, it is almost like a religion..lol. So probably will keep up with the scores from time to time. Then watch Bama destroy the Wolverines tonight at Seastar!!

Im thinking someone posted on here that the burgers at seastar were really good so might walk up there at lunch and try them out. Well the bacon and eggs are here. Got to go!!!!

Steph....Ardia is doing great...I got to talk to her for a minute last week when Daisy was there.....she started maternity leave this week.....so that cute little baby boy SOON COME!

J - thanks for taking time to post. Love the Gatehouse.....thats where I stayed in April. Cool private patio and that open air shower is AWESOME!!! I love the sounds of JA so even though lots of action at the gate it never bothered me.......oh and Happy Birthday. And I must ck the lighthouse next reach. Keep soakin up all the vibes mon. Oh I have heard the coco bread pizza and periogis at Sea Star are delish also!!!!! enJOY

Do they (Seastar) have perogies in their Sat. night buffet? We had dinner there in February and perogies weren't on the menu, I asked the waitress and she said they don't have them anymore.

I do not believe it is coco bread anymore? I had it in July and it seemed like your regular thin crust pizza. It was pretty good I might add.
