Inspired by the beach bars in Negril. I brought this one home to help pass the time till our next visit.
Many screws nails and Red Stripes....Hopefully will be enjoying spare time next summer rather than building in spare time.
Heading back in a couple weeks for more inspiration!!!:cool:
I love how you keep the essence of Negril in your design. A work in progress! Have you installed the Red stripe fridge and blender yet?
Dash...Thank you for the kind words..Blender is ready need to find the Red Stripe fridge. Long way to go yet but have enjoyed the outcome so far.

Is that an "above" ground pool that you inlayed into a deck? thats a good idea...whatever it is... its awesome... keep up the hard work now u need some bright paint some awesome signs... and some of that beach sand maybe a palm or 5 lol mini paradise awaits your backyard! another question...btw i have a million questions ... bordies are prolly like STOP with the questions...I'm curious by nature I like to learn... anyway are those oak trees?
Beebeluv..Yes it is an above ground pool after hand digging 48 post holes we finally got it all the way round and a 20x20 extension off the end for the pool house/bar made from Hemlock boards.
The logs are white pine I bought them for $10.00 at a local saw mill and peeled them by hand with the help of my power washer. In the process of staining all the untreated lumber.
Details to come as for decoration. I want it to look like it just landed in my yard from Negril when I am finished.
Nothing beats the real thing so we will continue to go to our home away from home Negril whenever possible.
I hope you realize that the next boardie bash is now scheduled for your back yard!!

Should be Bash ready by next season Dash....Still have to build in the bar tops roof it all and wire it. Wont be long before I have to winterise the pool (personal sea).
Mr Twister would love to see a picture of your pool bar.

Update...Another building season coming to a quick close. Roof is on, Privacy fence is up, Railings are up...Bar is not finished but drinking taking place anyway.
With the cool summer we have not been in the wata as much as we like but we still use the deck area for partying. Just need to wire it up and finish the bar and install the bar top. Hopefully I can get to that before the snow flies. Home away from home at home. I still miss JA! Too busy at work to get away anywhere else for now....

SS, THANK YOU for finding time to post a picture of the chair. I absolutely love it. Did you or some one in the family paint it or was it purchased somewhere? Am saving your photo, somewhere, somehow, I'm going to have a set of my own someday. It just seems like you couldn't help but smile once sitting in it !
It was a family member who painted it for us .. I've got two more sittin' on the front deck .. that need a repaint ..
I'll takle those ..soon come , spring time .. we've got a small yard (townhouse) ..but try to balance garden & party space ..
I've taken up carving ..so those are starting to dominate the tiny space
