Best suite on the beach

Hello all,

After a couple years hiatus, I am heading back to the beach. This year however, I am able to afford one of those places that I always walked by but could never stay at. So, any suggestions for the best place to stay on the beach if "price is no object"? LOL, I always wanted to say that. It actually is an object but I can afford a really nice place. I'm thinking Idle Awhile, Aqua Negril? Any comments or other suggestions would be appreciated. Oh, we're thinking of first week in March.

idle awhile is our favorite!!

If price were no object I would go with Moon Dance Villa's. We toured them several years ago and they are spectacular. Sadly Aqua is no more. The Ocean front suites at Treehouse are nice.

If price were not so much of an option it would def be Idle Awhile. I have always thought the porches looked spectacular and would love to stay there someday.

Owner's Villa at Nirvana. Directly beachfront. Moondance is great, but only the larger units are right on the beach.

Idle Awhile is our favorite but the Penthouse at Beach House Villas has the best view by far. One bedroom with kitchen and your own private roof top terrace. The porch off of the kitchen is great to sit and watch the flow of the beach both day and night. Idle Awhile has better interior design and comfort. Enjoy your stay.

The best suite on the beach is the one you’re in. This applies to anywhere in Negril, beach, cliffs, or in town.
This is what we wake up to every morning while in Negril.

My favorite are the ground floor beachfront rooms at coco la palm (right next door to idle awhile)!

I second CCLP beachfront - the top is the honeymoon suite.

Plus it has a huge jacuzzi tub - pretty sweet after a day on da beach

Another option, is a villa at Crystal Waters.

The Ocean View suite at the TreeHouse

If money is of little concern, a suite at Idle Awhile would be my first choice. I've only stayed in the deluxe room but I did tour one of the suites and it looked impressive.

Kuyaba has a nice one, too.

The beauty of Negril is that you don't have to break the bank to have a stunning view or beach front. You can pick quite a few places that have excellent beachfront. I've always done Charela Inn for their beachfront which is nice and wide with many palm trees on the beach for shade.

Idle Awhile is a boutique type hotel. Private serene modern zen style. Not busy like Coco, charela and Treehouse. But close to everything.

Thanks to all for your replies. We're thinking Nirvana amy be the place to go now that the fence is no longet there (we always hated the fenced in feel).

We had the owners villa at Nirvana and it was hands down AMAZING!! A bit spendy at 350 a night, but worth every American dollar!
