What's the SPICIEST -- and (mabye) the best -- food you've ever tasted in Negril?
For me, the jerk pork at Red Ground made my eyes water (so good too), but the Jerk chicken at Bourbon Beach with the sauce poured on it, that stuff was makin' me sweat. But I liked it!

My favourite jerk chicken is at Step Aside (jerk barrel) and the best curried goat i've ever had was at Blue Maho.

Re: What's the SPICIEST -- and (mabye) the best -- food you've ever tasted in Negril?
I didn't think that Jerk Pork at Red Dragon was too spicy...it was just right!!!
The Jerk Pork from I think his name is Neville (correct me if I'm wrong) the guy that walks the beach with his bike....his jerk is SPICY!!!
The sauce at Bourbon Beach is TOO spicy for me, but the chicken itself is guud!!!
The best jerk chicken I have had was at Best in The West.
The best jerk pork I have had was at Boardwalk Village

Re: What's the SPICIEST -- and (mabye) the best -- food you've ever tasted in Negril?
When chef Teddy was chef at Kuyaba he made a coconut curried conch that was to die for. It wasn't hot but it was perfectly spiced. That was by far the best thing I've ever eaten!
Now that he has his own place, Teddy's Hideaway at the Blue Cave Castle, he makes it with a little more heat and it is still amazingly delicious.
I love the hot stuff but spicy doesn't have to mean hot.

Get double the beer that you think you need. I was sticking my tongue out the window once after I ran out of beer. I made the mistake of drenching the bird and paid for it. LOL

My two "nose-running, sweat inducing" favorites are the jerk pork at Red Dragon and the escovich fish at Sun Beach.

The "hottest" food I've had in Negril, by far, is the Mountain Pepper Shrimp at Kuyaba. The waitress should ask you if you want it "original". Just be sure to move the slices of Scotch Bonnet off the sauce before you eat it....poor Tamminator thought they were yellow bell pepper slices....!!!!
