WP,
As one of my favorite lines in one of my favorite movies says, "Lighten up Francis".... (grin)
Your hotel will guide you right, but if you want to call us you can get us at 423-5479.
No worries man...
Rob will know what the best thing is, he will or should be at Three Dives tonight for the web cast.
Whoops, sorry the pics are upside down. Trying to post from an iPad.
Thank you captain. I am going to head to the webcast in thirty.
Looks like your at Xtabi!
I thought I had drank too much already and was seeing things upside down!!!!! I have had some weird things happen when I had a few to many Red Stripes but have never had upside down vision, I few times there has been multiples of things in my vision.
Go get Beer for your room a foam ice chest, cards, dominos, candles matches, and if there an any a battery radio for tunes and have some fun! nights without electricity can be fun and/or romantic ;) your choice!
Just follow the instructions of the hotel
^^^^I thought the wind was blowing that hard for the camera(grin)-Rob and Lisa to da rescue!!-
Hmmmm if it was me and my hunny hunkered down during a storm with no electricity...possibly for dayS....:o;)
Well anyways, I can see some silver lining LOL

What ever resort you are staying....trust mi mon...they will know the runnings. I have never been there for a full pledge hurricane, but many years ago in mid July, a hurricane was on it's way. Sea's were angry, winds blowing...and I will have to admit, I was a little afraid. Well, maybe a lot.
At that time we were at Xtabi, and they were totally prepared. All of us gathered that evening and were ready to battle out the storm. It was then, that I realized, it's going to be ok. At least everyone here is bonding together, the resort has our back and might as well kick back and enjoy the hurricane party. Anyhow, the storm continued then suddenly turned...so not a direct hit. However, being a West Virginia gyal, this was ALL new stuff for me!!! Thankfully, the storm moved from the Mobay area and out to sea. The next day was the MOST incredible day ever. Perfection to the max.
SO, hang in there and you will be amazed how quickly everyone bonds together. Keep us posted...many blessings sent!
Trust in your hotel to help you out and just take the advice Bella Bea gave..(have a hurricane party-many people do)Go with the flow, Not much else you can do when Mother Nature is in charge.
WP,
It was great to see you both last night - and glad you got the Stripes joke! (grin)
See you when the storm passes!
You will be ok...they know how to deal with hurricanes down there, and they know how to take care of their guests...don't worry :-). I've been through about 4 hurricanes here on the east coast (New England) that were at least cat 1 and its not that bad...be safe, listen to the people at your hotel... Get water and candles..watch the storm come in. There is an incredible amount of energy driving those storms and you can actually feel it in the air...
Thanks boardies! I think I am ready for this....
Lorax it's funny you said that about the air because I am starting to feel it. The wind just started swirling.
Oh boy, I guess it's time for a beve!
Keep your head down and enjoy the show !
Stay safe...
I dunno,if I was freaked for something like this, I would definitely want R&L on tap! Really, Rob. You and the lovely Lisa would be my calm. And either he's totally freaked or Sandy has turned the West End upsided down. Maybe I had a rough day, but I think those photos require headstanding.
Nope. I would be reassured somewhat by the hotel staff, but would want a confirm from Team R&L!!!
No worries man...[/QUOTE]
