Coco La Palm just called me....

I thought the worst..however they called to let me know that I have been upgraded to the "Coco Villa" which they said used to be the owners quarters. Anyone have any information or stayed there. I am going crazy...6 days and a wake up...:cool:

I didn't get upgraded two weeks ago, but I did have a very pleasant stay in a deluxe king room. Nothing was happening at For Real, which may explain why we didn't get a room on the south of the property, as promised...

You are very lucky I have wanted to stay there for years but they have totally ignored my request for a deal on 2 rooms.I know they can offer deals as I see them all the time :(

I was scheduled to stay in a Suite in the older section of the resort and they said that "Section 8" will be closed. IM not sure if there going to rennovate that section or just not use it during the summer months...either way...it works for me.

We received a complimentary upgrade to that room on our stay to Negril. It’s amazing!
There is a Jacuzzi and a balcony overlooking the beach. We were in awe and bliss!

It said “Coco Villa” over the door. (see pic)

There was another big place below us which I think was also a Coco Villa. I didn’t see the entrance to that one. It might be that room. That Villa looked even bigger

Yes were on the bottom floor and they said the Honeymoon Suite was the top floor...Thank you so much for the pictures and the reports.

I have stayed in the room on two different ocassions. You will love the HUGE patio. Nice room...right on the beach next the restaurant. Enjoy and I'll see you there leaving next friday night for a nine dat reach.

years back we were moved for one night to "WE FORGET"..lol........

does CoCoLa Palm have a room that is right around the corner from the bar by the beach, and has a large Jaquuzi (SP?) in the room, nice decor inside and very cold a/c, and multi channel TV??.....you walk from main place down sidewalk toward the beach to get to it.....??

I think every room at CLP has ICE cold A/C! And multichannel tv and a fridge too! I think those are the honeymoon suites, with patios, balconies right on the beach! We were jealous!

If I can remember right, this room and the bar was in a different building than the main place.......you could come right out of the room ,ground floor and to the left was the bar and beach......?

Hmmm...the beach bar is on the far right side, up against For Real. The restaurant bar and restaurant are smack dab in the middle, on the beach...the beach villas are on the far left against Idle Awhile. There are other suites, but the real beachfront ones are on the left, looking at the ocean, up against Idle Awhile. IIRC.....

thanks Rock Robster.....strange thing about that room...it was called Lovers Suite or Honeymoon Cottage, and looked to be expensive.....
but its location right next to the bar....made it the "worse" up grade that we ever had....lol.........
(oh by the by, the Jacuzzi didnt get hot..:) )
