Roy's Trip Report - Day One
My first trip report on this site!!! This was the first vacation for just my wife and myself since our honeymoon over 21 years ago. I think we were way over due.
The excitement really builds once you see this out the plane window..

Immigration and customs went smoothly. Out the doors and Rocky was there waiting for us. We made a stop at the Pork Pit in Montego Bay for some lunch. A local artist did a pencil portrait of my wife and myself.

Then off to the Mega Mart to get a blender for my wife's frozen margaritas. Next stop was our home for the first four nights - Coco La Palm.

We were both pretty tired at this point. We had a delicious dinner right at Coco and went to bed early.

Great start to your trip report! I love all the pics. (there is nothing like that first moment when you spot Jamaica in the horizon and the anticipation in your chest as the plane begins to descent!)
We stayed at Coco La Palm on our first trip to Negril and this is bringing back a lot of great memories

I love that feeling when yu throw your bags down in the room and lay on the bed and realize that you have left ALL-OF-IT behind you! The looks on your faces say it all.

That was a fun ride to Negril, sharing it with the anniversary couple! Even the rain shower while at the Pork Pit didn't dampen the spirits.
