where are you from coop?
Lately my fav burgers are from Seastar (huge), Canoe & Margaritaville.
Below is a link to a pizza debate on negril.com...

:)
I completely agree about burgers at Seastar - tasty and huge - with great fries. Don't have the funny normal "Jamaican hamburger" taste (which I am not a fan of). Pic from recent trip.

Also, the burgers at Sunset after Dark are also great.

But I think they are closed while Chef Patrick is back in Canada - easy enough to check since on the main road in West End.
I have heard the burgers there were good from many people. The only negative I heard was they were too big. The fish is excellent there too.
As to pizza. My wife and I gave up on finding pizza we like in Negril and just make it ourselves at least once a week. If you have a kitchen you can get away with that. We also like taking coco bread, warming it (toasted or waved), adding a little pizza sauce from a jar and some cheese, heat it a bit more and enjoy.
For pizza, try Angela's at Bar B Barn. I love the plain cheese.
Try this place

just make sure your kids are prepared, and let them know that pizza and burgers will have a unique Jamaican style and flavor, they won't be exactly the same as what they're used to .... time to broaden their tastebud horizons!
the no name place looks like a good place ....
Do'nt forget about Burger King (i know bad) but if you need junk food, it is the same as the states
is the beef used at Burger King from the USA?
no gerry - they support local industry; local beef is used, as well as local chicken and fish. (fresh and local is much better quality, and fresher, than ours is here, and IMHO tastes WAY better.)

Same with KFC in JA - they use fresh local chicken also - it's a thousand times better than KFC in America.
Where is the "no-name" place located?
Jamaica Tamboo has great pizza!
My lovely wide Linda lover the Big Fish Sandwich at Burger King.
They have a poster on the wall that says they proudly use only Jamaican Beef and it IS delicious.
wide
Again; terrible typing. WIFE
It's on the West End road (cliff side) around "On the Rocks".
Miss Blue: I had a mushroom, sweet pepper and chicken pizza. The only difference I found in the taste was that the sauce was spicier than here. You can choose your toppings and most are what you would have here.
I would be so lucky if my kids (15 and 13)just wanted burgers and pizza. They will try anything and usually want the most expensive thing on the menu. Not that we always let them get it, but they try. We did have burgers at Margaritaville and they were outstanding! I was getting hungry looking at those pizza pictures!
why would ya eat a burger king??? when ya got 500 other places to at at...jmo
One of the best mushroom swiss burgers I have ever had was at Norma's on the beach. I'm drooling just thinking about it.
BK and/or KFC would never be my first choice, but i've been stuck a couple times when nothing else was open, and i was damn glad they were there! :)
We now have 12 inch thin crust pizza at Seastar and we do deliver
I liked the pizza at Chances when I had it there and on the Wildthing cruise...
I never have found a hamburger I really like outside the midwest USA....YMMV....
I have had a great GoatBurger on the beach in Antigua...they had to add suet to keep it moist...
Thanks for everyones help
