We are doing 100 Candles next week at Ivans. Thinking of doing caves dinner but wanted more opinions.
Any idea how much dinner at caves runs? 100 Candles was 174 usd.

Never been to the Caves. Have the 100 candles reserved for our anniversary next week.

We did 100 candles three weeks ago and it was great. Food was really good. Its really nice.
Can't speak to Caves. Have done 100 candles twice in the last 4 years - thought it was wonderful both times :-)
If you do 25 candles, can you save a few bucks??

PM Baylee, I think she just booked The Caves dinner for her upcoming trip. I asked in her thread about the cost, but got no reply.

100 Candles is at Ivan's restaurant at Catcha Falling Star
Everything there is great. Great food, great view, great staff, great drinks, great everything!
How do they keeep all those candles lit with the breeze? They should use those battery operated candles. :D

Food @ the Caves was good quality ,but I thought it lacked creativity for the price.Ours was rice and beans
with fried chicken and vegatables on the side.If you have done Ivans then you did the better choice.

It was a breezy night when we did the 100 candles, and some of the tea light-type candles kept going out. The servers kept trying to relight them, but I eventually told them not to worry about it. There are numerous other candles on or around the table that are enclosed in glass, and those managed to stay lit.Quote:

Llap it is a private table you can reserve at ivans. For one price it includes a special menu at a private candlelit table. You must reserve it in advance. Price includes a bottle of champagne, appetizers, entree, and dessert. I hear the view and setting are tops in negril. Will let you know!
It's a special table set off on its own away from the main dining area, right over the cove.

Wife and I did it early October, location, meal, ambiance, and service was the best ever! As stated from Marley and Booger you can't go wrong at Catcha/Ivan's! One of the most romantic meals my wife and I have ever had in our thirty years of marriage.
Tanfastic, did they pretty much let you have the table all night?? Cant wait! We are scheduled at 5:30 to arrive.
The Mrs and I are having the 100 candle dinner while on our honeymoon in january on the 10th. I can't wait. All I've told her is we are having a romantic dinner at a nice restaurant.
Aaron we did have the table all night, but after being up for about 36 hours, about 36 drinks and a few subs I couldn't last it out. We sat down at 7:00 and left about 10:45 mainly because I was done and the wife wanted to get back to Sagi!
