There are many plans in the works for the Bob Marley Birthday celebrations - The One Love Bus Bar Crawl will be a big event planned for that same Weds the 6th - please stay tuned for the schedule of boardie events planned for that week!
Won't be there but if I had to choose...Get on the bus Wednesday!! Thursday Canoe probably has the steel band to go with the webcast. A boardie double header!!!

Exactly Dash....the webcasts were setup so no one would have to feel left out of the opportunity of meeting other boardies...they happen each week & they give everyone a chance to meet on a casual, convenient basis.

As has been mentioned, there are a great number of events planned for the Bob Marley Birthday festivities, including concerts, day time events, night time events and Boardie get togethers. It is a bit premature in suggesting that people ask for details of the events as they are still in their final stages of planning. The Bob Marley Foundation is to be involved in the showcase events so we cannot give the final details until all the decisions have been finalized.
But since there seems to be a response required at this point, in a nutshell - there are an incredible amount of events being planned that week - one of the them is the HUGE actual Bob Marley Birthday Bash on the 6th at MXIII. This is across from Canoe, so please allow everyone to coordinate with the Bob Marley Foundation about the final details.
Also, there are many official Negril.com events that will be coordinated with the official Bob Marley Birthday events - including the regular scheduled Boardie gathering on Thursday at Canoe. Negril.com set up the webcasts gatherings as a way for all boardies to be able to meet up with each other while in Negril so no one had to go to the trouble to try an organize an event.
If anyone would want to privately set up some meetings with others while they are here using some form of internet communication other than the business site of Negril.com - of course you can. But please allow us the right to use Negril.com to plan the Boardie events - we dont want people to be confused as to what is a official Boardie event.
And as always. If anyone wants to fly me down to give their events some more credibility by attaching "Flipadelphia" to the event name. I will be more than happy to accommodate.
