To be fair, after spending a good amount of time with Anthony, I am sure that he would be able to go to any hotel property on the planet and find ways to improve the place! Having assisted hotels such as the Plaza, Lucerne Hotel, Algonquin Hotel, Nickelodeon Hotel and Resort and the Westin Hotel in Times Square - the man has incredible advice to offer even the most prestigious of hotel resort properties.
So to be fair to all the properties in Negril, please refrain from the guessing game - all will be announced at the appropriate time - we are coordinating all the announcements with the Travel Channel and Hotel Impossible.
Thanks for your understanding and discretion in this matter!
I'm with you on Sunset on the Cliffs since that's my stay every year for the 7 & will be 8 come Jan. 30th - March 3rd.
I love that show. Have seen all the episodes.

I thought I saw someone else here from the travel channel or it was a look-a-like, Anthony Bourdain. It was better not to ask, that way I think I saw a celebrity.

I think we'll be surprised about the property . Have nothing to base that on - just a hunch.
I've never really watched this show. Do they normally work on existing hotels that can use some sprucing up, or do they take-on abandoned and derelict properties? I think Negril has a good stock of both.
I guess I can just watch the show and find out for myself.
This will be an interesting episode - Anthony and his team did some great work while here in Negril - and while I know a few people who know the property name, we ask that they kindly not mention the property name yet.
Interestingly enough, I got a call from their Associate Producer yesterday while we were at a packed Red Dragon Bar with friends and we discussed a few finer points for the upcoming episode..... stay tuned for more details!
During the 3 Dives webcast last month, Anthony and his crew showed up and those watching the webcast did get to hear some great information about the upcoming episode - right Clarity? (grin)

Awesome show, Melody! It comes on at 8p or 9p central on Monday Nights on The Travel Channel... Jut watched it!
I think it comes back on, as when I get off at Midnight(Central Time) and make it home, they are usually showing a repeat or repeats of the earlier episodes...

Do Canadian boardies get this channel? I checked my channels and I get "Travel and Escapes". It has some shows listing Anthony, but I'm having doubts that I get this show. Oh no! Is it available online?
I hope that Hotel Impossible does a better job than the similar show called Bar Rescue on Spike TV. Bar Rescue "fixed" two bars in my home town and both have gone out of business since the shows aired. Many times, places need more than just a fresh coat of paint to turn things around.
