New Construction at Country Country

Some photos of the new units being built. Nothing was happening during the 5 days we were there. One building is 3 stories and looks like 3 separate units. The second, larger building is 2 stories tall...

Right over the Crystal Waters pool!

Not sure but that might be the new restaurant/bar. It's fairly big... No sign of the pool yet, that we could see anyway.

can anyone recenty in Negril or soon come to Negril post any update on the construction at Country Country?

Just got back, they are not working on the rooms or Restaurant, but have started the pool as of last week.

Just talked to someone who works there. Estimates that the pool, restaurant & bar will be open in September. Not the new rooms though, those are taking a loooong time! Wish I'd had the funds & vacation time to take advantage of their livingsocial deal to check it out.

The restaurant structure is complete just needs finishing, Lokks like they have not touched the romms since I was there in march.

Can't wait to see it in person in November!

Looks like they haven't touched the rooms since I was there in November 2012! Don't think they have actually. Good they're focusing on the pool now as some want a pool and it will bring in guests that consider it a must have. Then they'll need those new rooms to accommodate the new "pool clientele". A little sad for me as I loved it the way it was, not crowded and nice and intimate. Would be great if they run a happy hour to make it a more social gathering place. Great food at the restaurant. Lots of potential with the expansion.
