And we're back

Yet another great time in Negril.

Got to meet a few new boardies.... though didn't really get to spend too much time with them. Just one of those things where the stars didn't align. All seemed to be having a great time though.

I did not take too many pictures, nor did I sleep that many hours.

Stayed at bourbon beach, where there the water availability from the plumbing was sporadic. Not sure if this was Negril issue, or a BB issue.

Ran into some boardies at Canoe

Got to see the great Bunny Wailer who was great, when he finally came on at what I think was around 2am, and he didn't play that long. Ran into some boardies

Experienced the "Rockin West" igloo party. It was all locals for the most part.

Did the Bourbon Beach New Years party. 60 bucks included All you can drink whatever you want, and a fantastic dinner feast, the West End Gang played a set upstairs where the dinner tables were setup. It was very nice.

Did a little bar tour of the west end New Years day/evening. Saw a bunch of boardies at Ivans. Took some Newbies to Ricks for the sunset. Grabbed a beer at AhhBees and chatted with Aubie for a few. Went to LTU. Has some drinks at Mi Yard, had some Chicken Foot soup for the first time at Sword Fish.

All in all it was a great trip.

I am at the point where I think after April, I am going to be ready to maybe make a 2 week trip to Jamaica and spend the first week seeing some of the other parts of the island.

Thanks for the report! If you like quiet and a laid back atmosphere try a week in Treasure Beach next time. Nice Mon!

Sounds like a busy week but fun. I need a week just to slow down and get chill. Definitely try 2 weeks next time

Glad you had fun. We are mulling the whole extended trip over ourselves, but staying in negril, half cliffs, half beach. I have done other parts (well, tourist parts) of the island... Negril always drags me back.

Flip sounds like fun, so jealous. We did 13 days but stayed in Negril the entire time besides the trip to YS Falls and Pelican Bar. Can't wait to hear about your travels.

April 15th the rates go WAY down through Negrilonestop....Yes,I know they go down due to the rainy season,thats why I may go right at the 15th.....Did it the reverse way this year and went right before the high rates start on Dec 15th......Just got back on the Dec12 and ready to book again.
