The immenient Return of Manda81

It's been quite some time that I've posted on the board .. many of you went through the motions with me of my very first trip to Jamaica. Which turned into one of the most memorable travelling experiences of my life. For those of you who weren't there to read a long and are curious, you can read my report here

For those of you who shared in my roller coaster, again thank you for taking the ride with me. And for those that have travelled with me in "crab" form .. bless your hearts <3 I am glad to be able to announce that I will be returning to JAMAICA in August !!! Not as a crab but in real life! I wasn't going to post this .. I mean it's January .. but I couldnt help it.

I already think it will be yet another "first" trip to Jamaica because it's going to be so completely different from the last trip. New destinations.. new people... either way I am very excited and I can't wait to share my 2nd experience with you all. The butterflies in my stomach are even more so than they were the first time around as this trip is not just about fun but about a lot more ..

Meeting a mother, meeting a father, meeting an entire family of people that I haven't yet met that will no doubt decide if I belong... oh the pressures.

Already there is so much on the agenda for this trip that I'm sure over the next few months the details of this up coming trip will change and re change. I promise not to bore you all over the next 7 months with all the planning details but I do promise to report back on what will hopefully be the new best travelling experience of my life.

Thanks everyone! Marley, I know I was planning on April but I've been requested for August :( It's bitter sweet because I have been waiting all this time with plans on April so that I could finally meet with everyone .. *sigh*

So many things have changed since my last trip .. I will have to work on a bit of a post trip report for those of you who are wondering what happened after my last trip.

Lol I'm extremely nervous and its 7 and a half months away... Hopefully enough time to attack the treadclimber with positive results lol but I anticipate that this trip will be even more of an adventure or rather a comedy than the last ... Meeting large groups of important people terrifies me... Not forgetting my extreme clumsiness in conjunction with my natural want to impress will most likely result in some very awkward embarassing moments that I will no doubt share with you all :)

Well your last adventure was fun, sure the next one will be too. So there is something going on with your "friend" enjoy your visit. Welcome back, was wondering where you were.

Thanks Angel I hope its just as fun. If by friend you are referring to Andre.. Then no there is nothing going on with him. I won't be seeing Andre during my visit. I found my frequent visits to the site really put me in a downer when I returned ... Getting back into the swing of my reality and missing Jamaica was hard .. I did come by and read many posts but had to ween myself off the site to get through my day to day stuff but with news of an up coming return I couldn't help but break my silence :)

Im happy, sad, tired, excited, overwhelmed. I've cried, laughed, yelled at the screen, help my breath,had butterflies and felt love. My eyes have been glued open for 3 days while I read your last trip report. I have so many comments that I am not even going to begin to go over all of them. All I can say is this is the BEST trip report I have ever read on this board, in my life, in any magazine and in any novel! I just felt you the entire way. Its a trip to bring back your old trip reports and re read them, it puts you right back there. You captured everything so perfectly. There is nothing, and I mean nothing, like a 1st trip to JA. My first time was magnificent as well and I have been back twice a year since and my 1st time was in 2010. It is a magnetic place for those who are addicted to the vibe. Whew, I am feeling all irie just thinking about it.:p I will be back in 3 weeks and this reports makes me feel all kinds of ways. Thanks sooo much for sharing. You seem like a boatload of fun. Now I have to go back and read all the comments in between the story so I can get all the details. :cool:

Meeting parents...sounds like, dare I say....who is the lucky guy?
