Absolutely Correct
Thanks Robin - you'd think I'd know after 17 trips (I could envision it), but I just wanted to be sure before I hit send!
I thought I was the only nut who did that and on the way home the side you can see the island and maybe the sunset
On the way home it's the left side I think -- right going in and left going out -- Spanky I am definitely also a nut.
We sit on the right both ways if we can. Sometimes the aircraft only has 2 seats on the right and that is perfect with noone in the middle.
I always try to sit in the rear of the plane because I have never heard of an airplane backing into the side of a mountain.
I always try and sit on my rear in the plane because any other way and they look at you funny. Lol. Sorry, leaving tomorrow morning and quite giddy!
Right arriving and departing for me. See the island when I arrive and watch it fade as I leave.
The right side is the right side when arriving :-)
Mrs Wilson, what dates did you decide on? Hope to see you!
I love the front window
Which side of the plane? I prefer the inside.
Deb - this is sort of amusing. We both have different dates each year since we met because we both want the same suite! We will be there just before you this year.
Inside
Nancy,Really? Here's another funny thing. I had actually called some months back to see if we could move to room 6 and was told there was going to be a wedding party coming in and it would overlap the time we are going to be there. Our son will be in room 8. If there was availablility he wouldn't care which building he is in,as long as it's a comparable suite.
When arriving anyside of the plane works for me :)
I like POSH..."port out starboard home"
Port is the left side of the plane and I say hello to the Caribbean.
Starboard is the right and I say goodbye to the Island
:)Right side both ways for us and see the island coming and going.....
Mrs Wilson sent you a message but not sure I did it right! I did get yours.
This is interesting, because every year before this one I've booked seats on the left side of the plane, and always thought I had a good look at the island from off-shore coming in. The plane comes in from the north, to the west of the island.
This year we sat on the right because the seat up front on the left was an extra $30 and I didn't want to pay that. The plane went down past the airport, turned, and came back, landing heading north on the runway. So we did get to see the island after the turn.
Maybe this depends on wind direction?
The is the "right" side of the plane!! ;)
