Got back last night. When I left the sea weed was waist high in front of Kuyaba. Starfish, seashells, sea cucumbers everywhere. Brought in by the rough sea.

Loud. If they were having a show at bourbon beach there was no sleeping until the show ended around 2 or 3. On the night of the Toots show, for some reason Legends decided to crank up there music or racket as I called it, at the same time. I guess they were trying to *compete*. So we were catching it from both sides. Legends was actually louder. When Bourbon Beach had Freddie Somebody, the bass from his show actually set off car alarms in the parking lot. Soooooo....if you are an early night person like I am, I would stay somewhere else. if you are a night owl then you will be fine. I actually work nights here at home 8pm til 6 am, but on vacation I enjoy going to bed early and getting up early to start the day.
the racket was probably from tamboo, next door to legends...and racket would be a good name for it....I think that would be monday nights...when we stayed at legends in sept and tamboo had their night, it was screaming.....a likkle beat, and more screaming.....I had to walk down to see wtf was going on....a lot of blinking lights, blaring racket and the dj would play a few seconds of rakcet and then stop and just scream...."everybody flic yur lighterss" AHHHHH...........it was loud and went on until 2-3 am....
my wife can sleep through it all,....Me, well I am a late night owl anyway, so a little noise on the veranda is ok.....but not for the early, light sleepers, thats for sure...

Years back when we used to stay at Legends, Tamboo was hosting a "private" party. We had one of Legends rooms above the bar/restaurant ~~ the pictures on the wall were shaking, it was that LOUD....

I haven't eaten there yet Jim-Donna, but the aroma coming from their kitchen every time I walked by would make your mouth water. I am going to stop in there sometime and try it out.

I bought a little cheap Nikon Coolpix a couple years ago and I really like it. Its small, easy to use and if I lose it on a pub crawl I'm not out a lot.
