Airs at 11pm here at home. Looks like it may well be worth it too! The info posted on my tv..mentions many activities in Jamaica including having a drink in the middle of the sea, so I assume this may well be Pelican Bar. Already got mine set to remind me and record. I noticed also that this is a 2013 date...so not a repeat of an older show. A needed fix for those of us here at home. Enjoy!! :)

We dvr'd a show called Jamaica Bared last week or the week before on the Travel channel. They do go to the Pelican Bar and Rick's. Lots of other great places too. Wonder if it's the same show? I'll have to make sure to catch it. Thanks!
That sounds like the same show indeed. Must have missed the earlier one..I did check the date made(2013) because I have seen so many shows on Jamaica. This one, I haven't though... Gonna chill me some Coconut Rum Cream (leftover from Jan trip) and enjoy the show.Quote:

I wonder if this is the one I saw last week? It was good, but it seemed really familiar, like they had taken clips of other shows and packaged it up and presented it as a new show. Not that I care, if its a show about Jamaica I will watch it! ;)
It looks like the original air date was March 10, 2013.

Well,love of my life and I watched tonight and to our surprise we were there if only in our carving....names that is. We went last April to pelican bar and had our names carved in the floor! We were so excited we stopped the DVD and looked and high 5D! Steve And Debbie! Just sayn' was fun. Oops that's dvr.

You are very welcome! So glad that I came across the listing. I really enjoyed the show also. Any Jamaica fix I can get right now, helps. I got about 9 months of waiting around for the next trip. Gonna be a long, hot summer...but it will all be worth the wait as usual. Love me some Jamaica!! :)
The drummer on the right in the voodoo segment is the lead drummer @ seastar-- saw him for sure at xmas. Pretty sure the drummer on the left is also a seastar drummer. I thought a majority of the general shots were Negril. I've never seen signs of voodoo on the island. Has anyone here seen any signs of voodoo? I prefer my chicken jerked. LOL
