Where in Negril is Weathermon & Mi Lady? April Fool's Day version.
This is an oldie but a goody! The picture was taken in the afternoon sometime in September 1995. This was the first trip for us to Negril and we stayed at this resort pictures here where they offered breakfast and lunch as part of the deal.
Now to the tube to watch some opening day baseball action!

We had stayed in Montego bay at the Holiday Inn in 1993 for our honeymoon. We took a day trip to Negril one day while there and haven't been anywhere else since!
When are we going to run into you guys again??

I Stayed at the Fantasy resort in 89 and did a day trip to Negril, the next year returned and stayed at the Sunbeam cottages, where Maureen,s bar is now.

Miss the T-Water as well as we were married there Feb. 28 1987 Walked down there this March when we were down and it was upsetting to see the state of it, but were treated to a cold Red Stripe for both my husband and I by one of the vendors in front on the beach. They told us to go in and have a look but we thought it best to leave it as we remembered it back in the day. And loved the breakfast and lunch deal, as I am an early riser and love my breakie, and hubby is more of a lunch guy, and not such an early riser!! Loved & miss that place.That was our introduction to Jamaica as well.

I often wondered what used to be there at Sunnyside bar. It looked like some restaurant with cabins in the back. Now I know. Sunbeam Cottages - gone but not forgotten. Thanks, PGW
