O.K. I'm a swim suite Freak..........I have many to choose from.......How do you decide which ones to take? I like to dress according to my mood for the day. So I have to take a few as Im not sure what I'll "feel" like wearing. What about you? How do you choose? I packed 10.:eek:

In my "thinner" days I would bring one or two for each day!
Two - an extra for when the other is wet.
Donna I understad the bathing suit addiction! I have to bring suits that feel good when I "feel Fat", for when I feel specially sexy, for when i feel skinny, for sporty days, for swimming days, I actually bring one for every day plus 2 or 3 extra just incase! I know, its silly but a trip to jamaica is always an excuse to buy new bikinis! :) Im in my 50's pinup stage, so all my bathing suits are very retro!
oh by the way i arrive a day after you guys can wait to see ya again!

I take many bathing suits as well. My husband like to call me Cher and count my outfits throughout the day. I like to lay in the sunshine in the early morning in a tanning suit, then I`ll change into another suit more suited for the hanging around, I also like to switch up the suits to match my mood.
I average around 10 suits for my 2 week stay............. They don`t take up a lot of space, I say BRING EM ALL ;)

I have 3 bottoms and 5 tops that I switch around depending on what I am doing.
My favorite bottoms gave up the ghost last winter and I have been desperately searching for new ones like it ever since. They were the boy short bottoms but with a bit longer leg that hid the jiggle ......... I miss them :(
I'll be taking 3 tops and 2 bottoms (Tankini style - bottoms are black or navy so they can mix & match). I'm not the fittest, so finding swimsuits I like at all is difficult.
I pack 3. Two for me and one for Negril.com's ego...
My wife brings more pairs of shoes than she does bathing suits. I tell her that it needs to be the other way around.
She usually brings three or four suits for a week and at least twice (if not thrice) that many pairs of shoes.

Nice thread! I use to only take 2-3. Then, I realized that almost every single day, I put on my swimsuit and a wrap, skirt, etc...cause ya just never know when you need to cool off. So, then I upped the ante!! :) Now, I take about 6-7...some can be mixed and matched. Better safe than sorry! LOL

I will only wear a bottom. Topless all the way for me. I figure I am on vacation, may as well go topless, topless to the beach, topless at the pool... Drink enough, topless on the road. 12 days = 8 bottoms. No tops.
Mine are mix & match! So like 4 bottoms 4 tops. This soon to be 43 year old post 5 kid body ain't the same as it once was!!! Bathing suits just piss me off these days!!!! :) Nothing a few Red Stripes & a husband who loves me regardless won't cure though!!!

I like to bring quite a few, but last summer I wore one over and over and between washing them every evening and the sand I completely wore it out!

I usually bring 2-3 mix and match. One year I completely forget all of them, lol! My daughter had an extra so I wore hers. :)

I pack what I wish I looked good it in... About 10 to 15, fat days, ok, days.. Never know what the day brings upon having too many banana pancakes. I hear ya, Donna! 55 yrs for me July 3rd. I try to look at it as Marilyn Monroe curves, not the aftermath of having 4 kids.... I already tell them, they need to donate to the botox & $'s I spend to cover the gray. Got to blame them for something!
Last year I went for 16 days and I took 6 swimsuits. This year I am going for 9 days and I may pack 4-5. I have a terrible self-body image. So- I feel awkward and terrible in swimsuits! Ughhhh!

THis year I brought 6 for 2 weeks, with a couple extra bottoms in case I wanted to change into a dry one. Worked ok, but I felt a bit deprived. Usually I'm more like 7-8, which feels more right.

Once you get there and see that people come in all shapes and sizes you'll feel better about it. My first few trips down south I only took 1 pieces and quickly realized it doesn't matter - we're all the same at the end of the day. Now I don't even own one and I'm a long way from thin :)Quote:
